Warm white color is just right. Turns on automatically at sunset every time. The clear bulb gives nice reflective effect so works great with clear glass (not frosted). Since its not solar powered it can work inside home too.

When did they start making lightbulbs that can turn themselves on and off when they sense motion and daylight or darkness? I'm not talking about a fixture, I'm talking about the bulb itself! I used to leave my porch light on all night because it was just a flood light, no special fixture. I ordered this bulb first, then realized i needed a flood bulb, and it does the same thing! it's just a bulb. I'm in shock. I may replace every bulb in the house! Turn on when i walk through unless it's already daylight. Crazy!

Very bright. Illuminates the porch and surrounding area like I hoped. The dusk to dawn feature is great. I save electricity during the day when it goes off and dont need to worry about turning it on for the evening again as it comes on pretty much as soon as it starts to get dark. I have the bulb in a fixture on my porch and it still functions perfectly.

This light bulb is a great invention. We didn't need to install a timer as this bulb does it for us. Dusk to Dawn Auto ON/OFF Outdoor light Bulb is an excellent product and a Great Value. It works perfectly, coming on at dusk and turning off at dawn. Highly recommend.

I installed this bulb in a charming old-style front yard post light with built-in “dusk-to-dawn” feature that only worked when the sunlight directly hit the sensor, so basically the light was on almost 24 hrs a day. Voila! Quick fix to an annoying issue, and I didn't have to replace the entire fixture! Saved me a bunch of $$$, too! WIN WIN

easy remedy for ouutside surveillance

These fit the bill for my needs: auto-on at dusk, off at dawn without the need for Wi-Fi. Didn't want to invest time or money in selecting and installing new light fixtures because I like the ones I have. I use these outside only, but they might be useful indoors if you need an all-night light. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the 2 lights they are on come on about 5 minutes apart, and one of them cuts on and off several times before it stays on. I realize this is the sensitivity of the receptor and placement in relation to sunset, but this makes it slightly less than perfect for this control freak.

for a front yard porch light, i would not recommend. I returned it because it wasn't bright enough for me.

I purchased four and installed two to replace two that had were over 2 years old when one blew. Within a week one went out. Replaced it with one of the spares and 4 days later both were out. Purchased GE and have been working fine for the last month.

The light never goes off. I turn the switch on and the light stays on all the time. It doesn't work like it says it will. The sensor doesn't sense the daylight. Super disappointing!
