Educational Insights GeoSafari My First Telescope, STEM Toy, Children Ages 4 and up

This little telescope is the perfect educational toy for a young child. The view screen is big enough for their smaller faces to look through. It has a tripod stand to keep it stable. It also has a cover for the lens to keep it scratch free. Its a great telescope for beginner kids to see the night time sky.

This GeoSafari Jr. My First Telescope is a really fun way for young kids . This telescope is very simple to setup and I like how colorful it is. I also like the extra large eyepieces. My granddaughter really enjoyed looking at birds and trees. I definitely recommend this product.

Our little boy loves playing with his telescope! It's even fun for us adults, although it's more like binoculars instead of an actual telescope, we all still enjoy it! I'd definitely recommend for the younger ones but I'd think twice for the older ones who actually know what's going on as it does not zoom in as far as a telescope.

I received a free Educational Insights GeoSafari Jr. My First Telescope, STEM Toy, Preschooler Science Toy in exchange for my honest opinion. The colours are vibrant and attractive, smooth texture but short in height, at least for my 6 year old, it is. However, this telescope was pretty disappointing. According to their claims, you see as far as the surface of the moon but could only see as far as my backyard. The magnification is preset, so can't be changed, which doesn't help any. Won't recommend.

Easy to put together but my toddler knocked it over and it literally shattered. Had to throw it away

My three year old grandson hated this toy; it was real enough for him.

Not pleased with this at all. The tri-pod is so short that my grandson can't really experience the thrill of looking though it at the moon and stars as it barely stands a foot tall if that. The ad was misleading with the kids standing to look through the scope. I thought I would be able to adjust the legs to fit him but you can't.

Within the first hour of my son opening it on Christmas morning, one of the legs snapped off. I had read plenty of reviews where this had happened to others so we were being careful and it still broke. I had hoped the good reviews would outweigh the bad but not in this case. Why can it not be made with sturdier parts?

Got this for my 7 yr old as a Santa gift. It was broken within 5 min of taking it out of the box. The part they look thru fell off and the lenses fell out. Needless to say Santa's elves got most of the blame for making a toy that was defective. Too much eggnog in the workshop I guess.
