perfect for school, I love the different cards, different ways to show them how to learn letters and what the look like how to put the missing letter in place
I bought these for my twin grandsons. They love it and so does mom
The Hot Dots Jr. Alphabet Card Set game is a phenomenal product that keeps my children engaged while learning! It offers multiple options within the game for different learning focuses within the alphabet. It is also a product that my children can grow with, as the options within increase in difficulty and skill.
We absolutely LOVE Insights Hot Dots Jr. The Alphabet Card Set! Its a wonderful educational game/toy that my 3-year old can't put down. He is still learning his alphabet, so it's a great way for him to quiz himself and keep learning. He loves the sound and lights from the pen too! I love that it'll stay relevant for more years to come - while he's learning and then when he's in school. I definitely recommend getting this for your child!
My 4-year-olds has been loving the Educational Insights Hot Dots Jr. Alphabet Card Set. Last year we got her the Hot Dots Jr Reading and Math books and this was a great addition! Such a fun way to learn and practice the alphabet some cards she found easy and some a little more challenging I think the mix kept her attention for longer than usual
These Hot Dots are amazing! My son is 3 years old and actually enjoys using this exciting interactive program. He has fun while also learning his ABC's! Would highly recommend if you have a toddler with a short attention span as this keeps my son so engaged!
This is great for an older child. My little one, aged 3, wasn't quite ready for this even though it states 3+. It is a great idea for learning being so interactive. My little one has special needs and this was a little too advanced for him to get the hang of right now; however this'll be great in the future when he's ready.
Being a homeschooling mom, educational toys or learning items is my life. This product is interactive and keeps my 5 years old attention. When he has some down time I give him this set to use and practice his letters. He uses it to test his knowledge And make sure he knows his letters. Overall the product is great for younger children who are just learning their letters. My son is very knowledgeable so this was used more for review. The downsides I found where that it only does a buzzer for right or wrong. I think if I were to purchase another product of this nature I'd look for one that says the name of the letter or the phonetic sound. The other downside is he gets bored of it and will just make the wrong buzzer sounds because they are silly to him.
To start, I was very excited for this to arrive. I had high expectations of this being a fun, educational toy for my four-year-old son. It is marketed for ages 3+, so this is an ideal item for him. At first glance, it is well-made, with a great concept. Having something interactive is an ideal component for young children. My son, however, did not keep his interest long enough into the game. It could be his age, or something else entirely, but he was not as enthused as I originally was. I will say it takes some encouraging on the parent's part to engage your child but not all toys and activities are meant to be enjoyed by the child alone. I did enjoy the product overall. I feel as though it has some great learning points without being overly complicated. The functionality works and it is very well made. In today's technology driven world, I think these fit in very well, and serve a wonderful purpose in educating children about letters. This is a wonderful tool/idea for those who may be gearing up for kindergarten!
We are absolutely loving this activity! My husband and I keep our kids home with us all day while we work, which is a handful, so we are always looking for something fun, simple, and educational to do alongside us, so they are "working" to and this has been an absolute hit. They have even been wanting to do it on their own as something to do outside of working time. I had my 3-and-a-half-year-old in mind when I looked at this product as he is a great age for it. He is loving this. He has the ability to recognize his lower and uppercase letters and he loves to match the letters to the words. He can get through the stack of cards in no time at all and he has fun doing it. My 2-year-old saw his brother having so much fun and couldn't be left out, so he takes turns too. He knew his uppercase letters and knew most of the items on the pictures, but this has been great to get him to learn lowercase and even more words that start with specific letters. The pen it comes with is easy to hold and has been a great tool to help us teach them how to hold it. It isn't too big, a bit heavy where the batteries go but manageable. The red and green colors are a nice touch, and the kids love the sounds it makes. Our only issue with this is the pen must be very on point of the black dot for the happy green light and noises to come. There have been many times my kids are correct however since they were a bit off the dot, they got the red light instead. They have both been incredibly frustrated by this on multiple occasions. My 2-year-old will let us help him by my 3-year-old is too independent for that, so it comes with coaching of you are correct, just slow down and focus on the dot to get it to be green. Overall, we are so happy with this and love it. It is a great educational tool to help kids learn letters and words and have fun along the way.
