This toaster has a sleek design to fit perfectly in my black appliances. This is not a wide slot toaster but provides a rack that pops up to toast bagels with one finger push. Toasting consistency is good. I would recommend
Delivered damaged.. paid for perfect, condition. Received dented merchandise. Box was damaged, not sure how it happened. Bottom line it's bent
Reading the reviews was very helpful in making my decision to purchase this toaster. They were also helpful in that the pastry warming racks on the toaster, serve very well as anti-toast launchers. Someone in the comments recommended keeping the pastry warmer rack up, while toasting, so as to avoid your toast getting launched to the ceiling. The spring on the carriage is very tight and so yes, that pastry rack is coming in very handy. Haven't lost a single post yet, and they are all perfectly toasted. It is important to read the little pamphlet so that you put your toast in the right positions so if not to under, or over toast them. I love this toaster. It was worth every penny.
Perfect toaster!! Love the stainless steel fancy look and it toasts my sourdough long slices perfectly!
I like the toaster because it has a warming rack It toasts your bread/rolls perfectly. It has different setting to how you like your toast light to dark I love it.
Very easy to use settings are simple. Toasts evenly.
So far, this is a solidly-performing toaster. The reheat function is nice, and the toasting is relatively even. The inside face appears to toast darker than the outside walls, however. For thick breads, bagged grocery store bagels are easy to toast 4 halves at a time. For your typical "fancy" breads (those that are double-bagged) two slices fit comfortably side-by-side. However, as noted in the single 1-star review I saw, the spring is very strong and if you buy the cheapest sandwich bread on the shelf the toaster may very well eject the toast onto the floor. The toaster comes with a "rack" that is used for warming items above the toaster, but these can also serve as guard rails for catching launched toast. So far this has kept toast off the floor. Also as noted, the bread really needs to go another 1/2 to 1 inch lower as the top inch or so of your typical square-shaped sandwich bread will go untoasted (the wider slices sit lower and are fine). I haven't had a use for the defrost function yet - bread is adequately toasted whether it comes from the counter or straight from the freezer. Cooking multiple toasts back-to-back also seems to work well, where other toasters may get a lot lighter as you toast more. I also like the long slim layout. I would give this a '5' if the toast tray went lower. If you only ever use the square sandwich bread, there is probably a better option than this toaster.
Mine arrived with a dent
Pushing the lever to enter your bread does not stay down. You have to hold the lever down with every use.
damage with fint on side
