Great tv wall mount, came with all the things needed for an easy installation.

The Emerald 9009 Tilt Wall Mount is specifically designed for up to 55 in max TV screen. The wall mount has a maximum recommended weight capacity of 80 lbs. The brackets and the wall plate has a good design and seem sturdy enough. While opening the box one of the brackets fell onto my tile floor. The bracket held it integrity; it did not scratch or bend. The box comes with the wall plate, 2 brackets, and screws with washers. I am an intermediate DYIer and I have to admit the installation manual was not very helpful. Step 1 told me to attach the brackets to the back of my TV screen with screws. The installation manual did not specify which screw. 4 types of screws came in a ziplock baggy: M4x14, M5x14, M6x14 and M8x15. I wished the Emerald company explained in more detail which screw to use. Step 2 told me to hand the TV with brackets onto the wall plate with screws. Again the specific screws were not specified. In step two there is a picture of the wall plate already attached to a wall. The installation manual did not talk about how to mount the plate onto the wall. While the bracket and wall plate were made from a good design; I felt the screws that came with the mounting set were flimsy. I chose not to mount my TV fearing that the mounting kit with screws would tear away from my wall; damaging my wall and TV. I recommend that 1)Emerald provide better instructions with sturdier screws or 2) customer who buy the product go to your local home improvement and buy sturdier screws.
