Epson WorkForce ES-400 II Color Duplex Desktop Document Scanner

Overall, I really love this scanner. The speed, accuracy, and vibrancy of the color scans are fantastic. The companion app makes everything easy to manage and organize. It can get jammed if you try to scan thicker items (like my child's art projects), but that's to be expected — it's designed for documents, and it does that job perfectly. The only frustration I ran into was connecting it to Evernote. After some research, I realized an Evernote upgrade caused the issue, not the scanner itself. A little alert or note in the software would have saved some troubleshooting time. Otherwise, it's a great product — fast, reliable, and well-built. I'd absolutely buy it again, though I expect it to last me a long time!

Works well. Impressive, as seen in a professional setting. I wanted to test it out and see if I wanted to keep it, however, with my home office, it's a bit much for just an-only-scanner option.

Very easy to install and set up on a Mac. Instructions clear and straightforward. Compact and control layout well designed. Very fast scanner. Excellent communication to the computer without glitches. Scanning errors clearly displayed with easy resolution. Excellent product for a small office or home application.

Ordered Saturday afternoon and it was delivered the following Monday. The unpacking and set-up were very easy. Downloaded the free software and registered the scanner in less than 15 minutes. Instructions were easy to follow and there are a number of choices of how you want to save the scan, including sending it to an e-mail. I downloaded the trial ScanSmart Accounting for keeping track of receipts with a 30 day trial. There are several options for saving to other programs or a file. No cost for the program was listed, but a web search was a one-time cost of $99. If it keeps my copies, it may be worth it. Thus far, I would recommend this scanner.

The tanks are awesome. Lots of ink is included. The name brand ink is cheap too compared to non stop cartridges. The start up takes a few, as does the duplex. It'll stop and think about it mid print session. The only downside for me is the document feeder. It loves to skip pages when scanning. I need a good scanner and this printer doesn't have it. Other than that, it's all good.

Had to return because it will not work for sports cards. Leaves roller marks, especially on chrome cards.

Prosuct was difficult to set up and then had lots of paper jana.

Will not connect to computer.
