Equate 1.1-Gallon Invisible Cool Mist Humidifier

Quiet operation and easy to clean. Purchased replacement filters on Walmart.com. The replacement filters are p/n RP3001 made by Air Filter Factory. The four pack replacement filters were $18.77 plus tax and free shipping.

this unit has a fan. so it makes a noise compared to other humidifier. I can't see the cool mist coming out of unit but it pushes just as much water into the air as other humidifier. what I like the most is the secure handle on the water tank. I have had it running all day for about 3 weeks and I can already see a discoloration in the filter. they state to change filter every 1-3 months depending on use. if you buy a 4 pack on Amazon the filters will cost $5 per month at maximum use. unit is big 2 times the size of other humidifier.

It makes noises that even scares my cats, it's not quite at all, the filter I don't like because you have to soak in cold water and it seems like it would be a hazard because it has metal in the filter and looks like it rusted in the first use,you cannot see the mist so I don't know if it works and yes I know it's invisible but cannot tell the difference definitely doesn't work for me but everyone is different so up to you plus you cannot put the water tower in the dishwasher you have to clean by hand and it's not that easy to clean so not for me.

Pros: This looks like it will be easy to keep clean - everything that water touches is easy to clean. The water tank seems well designed - easy to fill and carry without it being an ordeal. Reasonably energy efficient - I measured 20 watts on low and 30 watts on high. Cons: This thing is fine for only the smallest of rooms - the claimed 250 square feet coverage area is a stretch. The tank has no problem lasting 24 hours on high - which isn't a good thing! Water in the tank isn't getting into the air where I actually need it. The filter doesn't seem to be particularly effective at wicking up water; the top of the filter/wick always seems to stay dry even with a tank full of water. Finally, I've only had this for 6 days now and the filter is already starting to get deposits.

Disappointed. The reservoir that holds the water wetting the wick is way too small and too shallow to be of use. The wick does not sit in the water deep enough to keep it moist. Therefore It cant keep up. After about half hour to hour of use the wick is dry thereby rendering the humidifier useless. I need to flip the wick to keep it functioning. The 1st photo shows that the water in the reservoir is barely a half inch deep and only about 4" diameter. The 2nd photo shows The bottom of the wick barely sits in the water and cannot properly draw up enough moisture to properly humidify the air. Will be returning.

No This humidifier is cumbersome to use It isn’t quiet even when running on low, I purchased this to keep moisture in the air for my plants It seems to hold almost a gallon of water. The water gets used rather quickly in my opinion

The inside of the water reservoir is literally melting after only a 2 weeks! See photos. This isn’t moisture on the inside. You’re looking at melting plastic sloughing off of the inside walls of the water reservoir. No chemicals were used to clean this, so there’s no reason this should’ve happened. I thought I detected a plastic smell and couldn’t locate the source. The water tank appeared to have condensation dripping down the inside walls, but when I went to rinse and clean it with warm water and a dishrag, I found that it was actually the plastic breaking down…Gooey, sticky plastic was sloughing off into the water and we’ve been breathing it for several nights. Awesome. Aside from it pushing out toxic and undetectable moisture, the design is poor. It’s 3 separate pieces, not counting the filter. It doesn’t must. It’s not that quiet. I would not recommend this humidifier. There are so many out there around the same price point that operate as they should.

Went to fill it up with water for the third time and noticed a crack in the clear plastic. Never dropped or banged it on anything . What a waste. I would return but already burnt the box.

Disgusting. I was super unimpressed by the output, but after having for only 2 weeks I checked the filter and it had MOLD everywhere. I bought this for my sick newborn and we are probably worse off than we started. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT

It stopped working the day after the return policy ended. Was loud when it did work.
