Equate Omeprazole and Sodium Bicarbonate Capsules 20 mg/1100 mg, Acid Reducer, 42 Count, Compare to Zegerid OTC Active Ingredient

I've had GERD for years and have been on Omeprazole prescription strength for years. The Omeprazole by itself worked about 80%of the time and when it didn't cover me, I would have to take something else also. With this generic ZEGRID it is a wonderful break from that heartburn feeling. It works VERY well, so well in fact it's the only thing I need, never have to take anything else on top of it. It works so well I told my Dr I was switching to it and unfortunately, my insurance doesn't cover this med. Idc I pay for it out of my pocket because it's that worth it. If you're thinking of trying it, please go for it, you will get pretty instant relief also.

my doctor recommended these and they get the job done. I use them daily and my husband has been able to use them every other day to get heartburn relief! other brands just did not work or seemed to stop working. these have been a great find esp. in the Equate brand so we can save money too!

This stuff is a lifesaver. The price is the lowest you'll find, especially now that Walmart dropped it to only $10. It is the only thing that works for my persistent heartburn, and I would be miserable without it. I do wish it worked a little bit faster though. It is approximately 20-30 mins for relief. I will continue to buy this Omeprazole, and it definitely has my recommendation.

In my opinion this brand works just as well as the expensive name brand at a fraction of the price. If you have not tried this brand yet you should. We take this medication for heartburn / indigestion. I actually mixed this brand and the expensive name brand in 1 container, and we could not tell any difference.

This is the first time I have seen omeprazole with sodium bicarbonate (baking soda). I have a hiatal hernia of moderate size that causes heartburn and stomach contents that come up with a burp hiccup. I often have had to make a baking soda and water mix in addition to the omeprazole to get comfortable. Thank you Walmart Pharmacy for making this product. It makes my life easier and better.

I honestly don't know how I would live without this stuff. I love that it is both fast acting because of the sodium bicarbonate and long acting. I have the WORST acid reflux. This is priced very well, and it makes my quality of life so much better.

I have used omeprozole, off and on, for over 15 years. I got this kind, with sodium bicarbonate (basically baking soda) on accident once and it worked SO fast! I've bought this kind ever since. It works within 15 or 20 mins and keeps working for about 24 hours, sometimes longer.

This is an AMAZING product! I use to buy Zegerid. However, this product works incredibly well for a fraction of what Z costs. Acid reflux sufferers, you NEED to buy and use this effective %26 affordable product. I HIGHLY recommend it!!!

It worked well in a pinch, as I was out of a prescription avid reducer and this is the closest substitute out there for it. Super cheap, often on sale as well, and with the sodium bicarbonate, it seems to work even better! I'd definitely buy this again if needed to fill a gap in my medications lik I did last time. And they are accepted on our family's OTC card!!

I honestly can't recommend this particular product for anything generic about heartburn. My husband had a lot of bloating with this particular one this one took away his acid, but made his stomach hurt.
