This purchase was made because my old stick vacuum just didn’t want to work anymore. I did not have high hopes for this vacuum and was pleasantly surprised by it. It was extremely easy to put together. And it is powerful. After running it over two rugs i was surprised with the amount of dog hair and dirt it had brought up. If i ever need a new one i will definitely be getting this same one again or one similar.

No Lights, No Bells Or Whistles But A Good Vacuum That;s Works Great On Bare Floors And Low Pile Rugs. Throw Rugs Too, You Just Habe To Stand On Them Cause The Power Suction Is Powerful It Will Suck A Throw Rug Right Up.

This is the first vacuum I have purchased myself and I'm amazed! It is lightweight and powerful, cleans the floors beautifully, fast and simple to empty the dust container. Cleaning the complete unit is surprisingly easy. The dust container releases from the main unit and has only 2 other parts. All pieces clean with water and snap back together in their proper places. And the price was great, too.

When I took it out of the box, I thought great seems cheap because it was way too lightweight! It really fooled me, this vacuum works better than the one I have that cost me about $200. I only bought this one for my living room rug. I’m ready to toss the expensive one I have for upstairs and replace with this one and buy an extra one. It is magical, I cannot believe how powerful it is! Love the bag less, it’s unbelievable how much more this Eureka bagless upright works. Love it! 5 stars all the way!

Wow this is perfect for my home powerful sucking power,the suction is great to suck up my pets hair , canister is easy to empty compared to other vacuums I have tried this is the best one .

It is light weight, but the brushes do not stop turning even when you use the handheld part. I will have to hold it up when doing furniture and stairs. It is also difficult to push over thick carpet, so the lightweight feature is not as convenient as I had hoped.

Vacuum works really well doesn’t have amazing power but for the price it is a good buy. Really easy to set up really easy to use. It’s really light as well. You can fit it in the storage in the tight place so overall it’s a good product. Recommend buying it if you don’t vacuum too much and if you aren’t looking to spend too much money on a vacuum, this one would be a good buy.

I have only had for a week but so far am impressed. It's easy carry around %26 to put together. The suction is amazing. It picked up dirt, dust and hair that my other vacuums never did. The cord and accessory length could be longer. There's a noise when you turn it on that makes me think it may not last long but we shall see

Eureka advertises the NEU 100 vacuum cleaner to be safe on hardwood floors. The roller brush does not turn off nor does the vacuum cleaner raise up off the floor. The roller brush will always be in contact with the hardwood floor, thus damaging it. When I called customer service, they agreed with me and said that I can use the vacuum with one of the attachments on hardwood floors. This vacuum will damage your hardwood floors and they are very deceitful in how they market their product. I will do everything I can to have this product discontinued. Again, do not use this vacuum on hardwood floors. It will damage them.

My home is typically very clean. I vacuum daily out of habit, not necessity. We remove shoes at the door, I have one dog (a Border Collie that hardly sheds), no cats. I chose this vacuum because it claimed to work well on both bare floors and carpet. I have one large area rug in my living room, a smaller one under my dining table, and a runner in the hallway — all other floors are bare. On bare floors, this vacuum is useless. I can literally feel dirt shooting back at my feet instead of being picked up. The cord is far too short. Even with my open floor plan downstairs, I have to unplug it just to get from the living room to the dining room and hallway runner. Cleaning it is supposed to be “mess free,” but the design says otherwise. The top part of the canister traps hair and clogs quickly, so cleaning it out means getting my hands dirty, ruining clean clothes, and immediately having to wash my hands before doing anything else. This vacuum simply does not do what it claims. If you're looking for something that works well on bare floors and carpets, this is not it.
