this bad boy KEEPS A CHARGE! I have used it to jump my Yukon and just cars here and there at the beach or in the parking lot. Its a life saver and gives me the opportunity to help someone else if the need arises. Ive even used the air pump for a tire...LOVE the way i can pre-set the tire pressure and it stops at that pressure! never feel like im going to over fill a tire again!!
The item has a theft device on it in the store. When I received the item the box was open and the charger cord was missing. So I believe that the delivery driver took the cord out of the box for reasons unknown to me. So I returned the item and bought the exact same one which came with the charging cord. Love the product and services Walmart provided just not sure about delivery guy.
Literally had to order this and get it delivered to a hotel in Tampa, Florida because I was stuck at a hotel. I am so thankful for Walmart plus and for the delivery option because this saved me. This was able to start my car and get me to where I needed to go! I take it everywhere with me now. You can use it as a lie as a backup battery charger. It's amazing!
First- the item I received was obviously used before, scuffed up and just packed back up. I'm finding this in more and more expensive stuff I'm buying here and it's ticking me off! Label your stuff appropriately if it's been sold used and returned to stock!!!! AND STILL AT FULL PRICE Second- the electrical charger gets too hot to touch it after 1-1/2 hours charge time. So charging means having to repeatedly plug in, check charging cord/block temp, unplug it, charge it, check it ,unplug it..... ugh! I'm definitely returning it, just trying to decide if I want to try another one of the same. Complete waste of time, researching the exact item I wanted and making this purchase.
Used this to start a battery that was only slightly under power, lights and door locks still worked, to start my 4 cylinder engine. It took 3 tries before it got the job done. I tested the battery pack and it only charged my iPad 1.75 times. There are no indications about the size of the internal battery but feels very underpowered for its intended use. The casing is made of good material and has a lot of rubberized parts which is great for damage protection to both the unit and your car. The unit is larger than needed making storage inside a car impractical.
Not any help when you need it the most. Went to start my Hummer with 3.7 five cylinder engine after it had been sitting for a few days. Battery was down and turned over slow so I decided to catch it before it was totally flat. The EverStart 1600 Amp charger was absolutely no help at all. Ended up using my car to jump start it with cables. That being said it has been extremely cold here in Maine for the past week or so. Not much good in really cold weather.
I ordered 2 of this items , Walmart only delivered one and does not want to replace or refund the missing item . A delivery picture was uploaded by the delivery person showing only one unit delivered. They tell me to wait 10 business days over and over again . The agents tell you anything to get you off the phone without resolving your issues . The worst experience and very disappointed in the way my case was handled . I completely lost $100 here .
Great if you just are buying it to sit in the garage-- however, if you actually need a jump box, this tiny little fragile cord cannot deliver power even from a heavy duty extension cord. Keep looking. This one needs an outlet directly on the box lile others have, rather than one that literally a mouse could chew through in one bite.
I have a dead battery. Had this delivered same day. It has been charging not hooked to the car for over 7 hours now and still only shows 10.2 volts. I was hoping this would jump start my car so I could go get a battery installed but I guess the jump starter needs its own jump start. I paid for same day delivery also. Yes this is going back to the store, hopefully they do not tape this up and re-sell.
We gave this item as a gift to my in-laws. However, when they opened it, they realized the charger was not in the box. The charger is included. It appears someone bought the item, returned it, but kept the charger. Then the item was sold to us. I have tried relentlessly for the past week to get this issue resolved however customer service is a joke. I have called and spoke to several representatives but their only solution is to return the item and we will get a refund. Like I said before, we gave the item away as a Christmas gift and it is not in our possession. My in-laws are not local and they are in their 80s. It's unfair to ask them to take it back when Walmart is the one who screwed up. They should go out of their way, not us.
