We have a 19%23 cat and a 7%23 cat so we had to buy the XL cat door. The 19%23 cat has no problem using this door and it doesn't phase him. The small cat has problems pushing the door open. He's learning but I would not recommend for smaller cats if it can be avoided. However, if your cat is large- I highly recommend. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this product for the price.

This door is well made and it locks ! Described as a cat door but my doggy will love not having to wait for someone to let her out to potty. I would recommend and I would definitely buy again.

Well made. Works well. I wish the markings on the door locks were more clear, you have to stand on your head to see them and use it. But I still like it. Great value for the price.

The thin door worked perfectly in a screen that I had blocked out for the window and if you don't have the money to buy a window cat door which is triple the money the thin door worked perfectly in a screen that I had blocked out. This is a good value product and my cat uses it which this saves me money on electricity for air conditioning.

My cats love using this door,and its the perfect size for them, however the locking mechanism isn't the greatest. They were constantly locking themselves either in or out because the locks would slide one way or other when they were coming in and out. i eventually just had to tape the locks down so they wouldn't slide to the lock position when the cats ran through the door.

the extra large works best for my cats. cats grow over time so it's best to plan for the future with the extra large. on the downside though, at the bottom middle of the plastic window there's a magnet that stops the window from any movement. I had to remove this magnet with a screwdriver because it holds the window just firm enough where the cats think it won't open. they don't realize that they have to push through it with a little extra push. after removing the magnet the window settles in place just fine and has free back and forth movement with the slightest push of the cats head and nose. once they see that it moves freely then they understand they can go back and forth through it. the resistance of the magnet made them stop and not understand what to do!
