it's a really fine sand so it definitely will make your pump run good.Pump just needs to back flushed.The sand you put in can stay in filter up to 5yrs.It was a more expensive sand but very fine.

The sand was leaking out of the box immediately upon delivery. A large amount of it spilled before I even picked it up. Why did they make me pay for empty bags and sandy boxes?
