Farberware 6-Quart Cookware Aluminum Pressure Cooker

My pressure cooker it's so easy to use, I'm making lots of different foods on it, variation of meat, beans and soups. Easy to clean, it's my everyday favor pot.

I catered a party in a fraction of the time with this awesome pressure cooker. My meat was as tender as it would be if I cooked it in the oven overnight. I was able to prep for a party of 40 all by myself without feeling overwhelmed. This is a life saver to my time!

I love my pressure cooker. This is the first I have ever had and just love it. Pretty easy and simple to use. it comes with a mini instructions book providing some cooking times. I'm a fanatic of clean stuff and this one is also easy to clean.This is a perfect size for a family, and is built very well. It fits the heating circles of the stove perfectly. I love cooking and this pressure cooker has made my cooking faster and more delicious. I do recommend it! In terms of duration, we will still have to see. It does such as good a job, my friend went and bought the same one! Safe to use, easy to clean and operate, Great Cooking Everyone!!!

Farberware Cookware Aluminum Pressure Cooker, 6-Quart I was worried about ever even using a pressure cooker especially after hearing generational horror stories about lids popping off during cooking and creating an enormous mess. I am worried no longer. The 6-Quart Farberware Cookware Aluminum Pressure Cooker is super safe and easy to use. Truth be told…I really don't like cooking because I am never successful. I follow recipes and the dishes just don't meet my hopes. In trying Farberware's 6-Quart Cookware Aluminum Pressure Cooker, I followed the recipes in the provided cookbook. We really liked the stew recipe; it was delicious. You know how sometimes stew tastes better after a few days and a few times of slow cooking. I have never made a home-cooked, meat-filled dinner in 20 minutes that even came close to tasting this delicious and tender. Table conversation stopped because everyone was busy repeating, "mmmm, so good!" The Farberware Cookware Aluminum Pressure Cooker is now my go-to for cooking meals for company visits. • The pressure lock is a nice feature to have as it prevents the user from opening the lid while the contents are still under pressure (which was my biggest fear!). The safety lock rises under pressure and falls when it is safe to open and the contents are no longer under pressure. • Much lighter in weight than the pressure cookers our parents used - they were heavy and a little dangerous without the anti-opening feature. • Lid maintains a really tight seal. • Handle is very secure, easy to open when the time is right, and there is no wiggle to the handle itself. While cooking, I made sure to move the handle away from the gas burner heat. • Hand Wash only. Easy to clean. Foods did not burn. • Cooks sooo much faster than regular cooking • READ the instructions carefully (I keep the instruction manual open during use.) In the meantime, if you are not using the 6 qt pot as a pressure cooker, the pot itself makes a really nice, deep container for cooking. The 6 qt size holds a lot of food. You simply sear the protein to get it started and throw in the remaining ingredients and you've got a huge dinner. Fear no more - Farberware has taken the stressful pressure out of Pressure Cooking. Farberware's Cookware Aluminum Pressure Cooker, 6-Quart, is a joy to use. Going to get my mother-in-law one for her birthday - she misses pressure cooking.

New to canning. I fixed Southern Fried Cabbage as first meal. Came out very good in just a little bit of time. Will attempt to make and can caramel in small jars in next few days. Cleaned up quickly.

Personally I can't complain excellent value for money, simple and straightforward. Made fairly well too. If it wasn't for its size I'd buy anyone anyday

This brought me back to when my mother would make Sunday dinner after church. I never used one before, I found this unexpectantly easy and the pork roast came out delicious. Easy to clean and I'm proud to show it off!!

I bought 3 of these by mistake. My moms says they are nice ,but not as durable as the older ones made years ago. My mother is 92 years old..

Manual says it is not dishwasher safe.
