We LOVE this tallow. Switching to tallow has been a game changer! We cook almost everything with it. It either tastes great or blends in so well you cant tell. Any chicken we used to cook would taste good but then leftovers had that weird chicken taste to it but not with the tallow, every single bite has been absolutely delicious. I highly recommend at least giving it a try!
I mostly use beef tallow to cook any type of meat! It enhances the taste and cooks it well. I dont cook this product with eggs, I use MCT oil or plant base oil. But its tasty to cook meat and also FRIES.... WOW... cook fries with tallow is a dream meal.
Okay, I read the review on this before I bought it. I'm actually glad I bought it. It made those little tater tot rounds you can buy turn out awesome! Such a good texture to them. Crunchy after sticking them in the fridge overnight and nuking them the next day even! I can't wait to try it on other stuff. I hate to admit it, but I have really dry skin and read someone uses it for some kind of lotion too...I'm so going to try it!
I absolutely love this will be buying it from now on when using it to fry food the food does not absorb or retain it like using vegetable oil and the food taste so much better. I also used it to inject and spritz while barbecuing and smoking meat and literally won't do it any other way from now on.
Best tasting Tallow. Very clean even ultra clean but not treated, no chemicals, just grass-fed grass finished beef rendered in small batches and you can tell. High quality. Worth every dollar. Everyone needs beef fat in their diet with your meal. Its helps to keep you satiated longer. No need to snack all day long. Heck it saves you money, buy Tallow instead of snacks.
I need to go buy some more of this tallow today. This was my first time actually buying beef tallow from the store (I usually make my own), but this brand tastes amazing. I love that it comes in a glass jar. Overall, this tallow tastes great on homemade fries.
I expected this beef tallow would add flavor to food, and it did not disappoint! Only takes a little bit, I use a melon-baller to scoop out about a tablespoon, it's hard right out of the fridge and a melon-baller is perfect for scooping. I have fried eggs, potatoes, and turkey burgers with it. It's also wonderful for greasing baking dishes for halupkis, enchiladas, and any casserole. No strong smell, or taste, very delicious. Great in soups and homemade gravies.
Good item, but my last delivery order I received an open jar, and walmart is saying I have to return it in person instead of just refund it. I order delivery because I'm not able to go to the store in person. So I guess I'm just out $14 for a jar with a broken seal, because it's not possible for me to return it. Go back to doing virtual refunds for those individuals who aren't able to just get to the store in person.
This did absolutely nothing for me when it comes to flavor and taste. It doesn't last when cooking with meats or pasta in a coated cast iron pan. It's priced way too high to offer so very little. Either go big or go home when it comes to quality and flavor. I wouldn't recommend it.
I'm convinced they sold me an expired item. I've bought before and the jar had an expiration date STAMPED on the bottom. The stamp was washed off of this jar and a sticker in its place. This jar of tallow smells absolutely horrible and isn't even the right consistency or color. This seller needs to lose their ability to sell for Walmart bc I've seen others say the same about the tallow they received. I'll never buy from this seller again and you shouldn't either. I saw at least one family got sick. I wish I'd read the bad reviews before I bought from them
