this is quite simply the best dang shovel that you will EVER buy and the last one you will ever buy. the solid steal construction will last 2 or 3 lifetimes, its ergonomic, with a HUGE step plate and just the BEST. my father in law had one, I can borrow it when ever, but I just had to buy one myself it was just too good to have to return to him when ever I was done.
The shovel is almost completely indestructible. It's heavy, so a smart operator will let the weight of this thing. Do a lot of the actual work. The only thing I had to do was get my file out and put a bit of an edge on the point of the shovel. The price was reasonable, considering what it is. I would have preferred to go with corona brand but this seemed to be a better value.
I love this shovel. The blade to cut thru sod, splitting plants, %26 digging deep is awesome. I like that it has a steel handle and I also love that it has a lifetime guarantee.
Very durable. Using the shovel for prying loose large rocks in my yard. So far has held up better than the more expensive shovels purchased in the past.
It's heavy, but it'll last forever. I break too many shovels to complain about the weight. If you put a garden in by hand, like me, you'll love this shovel. The pitch is perfect too.
i have clay soil in my garden. tgis is the only shovel that can get through the soil. I love it so much that I am going to order another one. very sturdy. Great value for the money. I have nothing but good things to say about this shovel.
It's heavy duty and well made. I just bought a new house, and I needed a good shovel for landscape projects. Our roads are a mess, so I also used it to remove grass/weeds embedded in the asphalt. I am 5'9, and the length is perfect. It was delivered quickly.
this shovel is amazing, used it to rip root out of ground, my last shovel witha wood handle couldn't handle it and snapped. this baby is strong 💪
not a big fan of metal handle, i am not sure how well the metal deals with the rust in future. But so far it works fine, very strong.
Its a good *hollow* steel shovel that *will* break, and the current price is good. If the price goes higher, its not much worth that price. It will break about where the shaft meets the step. I've bought one, had a replacement under warranty which helps, that one broke too, but another so this is my third. If it doesn't have QA problems from the factory and a person doesn't put pressure on it that is guaranteed to break it, it will deal with plenty of rocks, roots, and tough things. Until I can somehow find an actual solid steel shovel, that will be a lot heavier but a lot stronger and longer lasting, this one is recommended despite the flaw. They *could* add a secondary collar to the shaft and improve it further while keeping lower weight hollow steel but they certainly won't. The end result, its good if you can't find anything better. If its hollow its no better, so beware you don't *always* get what you pay for, as you can pay a lot more and get nothing better. Its just not as good as I want.
