We got hit with Hurricane Ida in Northeast Queens NY.. We never get hit..This is the first time this section was drowned!!! I truly feel for all those that were hit Katrina....so our basement was completely flooded...I decided to give Flex Seal a try last month...Yes...Last month...waiting for water to dry up and disinfect and clean...plus waiting for the Flex Seal to arrive...Well...Happy to report...very happy with the outcome...it has rained a lot here and thank goodness...not a drop has come through the walls or ground..My husband and dad covered the wall and ground with Flex Seal..last week..we put peel and stick tile...I'M SO GLAD I WATCHED ALL VIDEO'S AND TOLD MY HUSBAND AND DAD THAT WE ARE USING THIS!! MY DAD HAS USED THIS PRODUCT BEFORE.
Excellent product !! I used it to repair a pair of tactical shoes that were coming apart [ very expensive shoes ] . Worked great , these shoes will probably now last my lifetime . If they need more repair i'll use Flexseal again . I'm already thinking of other ways to use Flexseal , my mind is racing . On my short list of must have products .
I used Flex Seal liquid rubber on a hairline crack on outer basement wall, application went on easy, used two coats...I feel very confident this will solve my problem. I researched many different products and I believe this is the Best product for my problem...Lord willing I'll have no more leaks!
We had some water coming in our basement through a concrete wall. We painted the entire wall with flex seal and it sealed the deal. It really works and is easy to use. We have used this product before and it does the job...it works exactly like they say...you will not be disappointed.
The clear coat went on easily and sealed up the seams in my basement cinderblock wall, keeping out rainwater. The Flex Seal couldn't be cleaned from my brush, so I switched to cheap throw-away brushes. During painting and curing, Flex Seal had a very strong odor which permeated the entire house and took 2 days to disperse, even with open windows in the work area and vent fans going full blast. The dried coat is glossy, which makes the painted area reflective and look wet; a flat finish would be much better and non-glare. The Flex Seal liquid did not require mixing, just open the can and apply.
I haven't used this purchase yet. I ordered the smaller size hoping the Flex Seal inside won't dry/harden as it did in the 32oz size. I was a bit disappointed that I lost about a third of the can. Would you ever consider making your product in 8oz sizes and sell them in 4 packs? I would use/purchase something like that.
it was to liqui i put it up. but its on a virticle surfice so its sagging, cold outside so not drying, but this pring ill tear it all out and fix what is damaged... the flex tape, just failed. its not sticky, in wet surface like you advertise, it dont work. i am very dissapointed. i will still buy things but vary little now.
-Buy Flexseal for a emergency fix -Realize its super temperamental with regards to layering and drying -shoudla just spent the same amount of money on silicone
It didn't stop our patio from leaking into the garage. :( We added another coat and it still didn't stop, but slowed it. I expected it to act like it does in the commercials. It didn't. We couldn't find the 2.5 in grey anywhere. But we did find 4 gallons. But it didn't cover as much as the can said. So, where it had some good it had more bad. I'm was very disappointed to spend the money on it and it didn't stop the leak.
We used the Flex Seal paint on the inside hull of an aluminum boat, surface was sanded and prepped for paint, the Flex Seal product peels off if something rubs against it. Also dirt sticks to the surface and looks dirty all the time. Very disappointed in the results and will use a different product next time. Last boat we used was Herculiner and results were much better.
