We’ve bought plenty of brown sugars that come hard as a rock straight out of the bag. This one didn’t. It was soft, easy to measure, and didn’t need any tricks to break it up. I use it mostly for baking, and it blends in just fine. The pouch seals well, which probably helps it stay that way. I also like that it’s organic and not overly processed. It’s not fancy, but it works—and that’s what matters.

I like to use this to make Domino Sugar Quick Nut Fudge. I learned to like brown sugar fudge in England when we were stationed there. I also put milk in it like they do. This is a good light brown sugar. I use this for beans and other things.
