Everything works great. The pool vacuum picks up all the dirt from the bottom of the pool and the net catches the particles that are at the top of the pool. For some reason though, the net gets dirty and the dirt absorbs into the net. No matter how much I scrub it with a sponge or rag, the dirt doesn't come out. Regardless it still works great at keeping my pool clean
When I purchased, it was almost half the price of the exact same product on Amazon. For what I paid, it was a great value. Other reviewers have bad-mouthed the brush/vacuum. I used yesterday for the first time and it works ok for above ground pools which tend to be smaller. Doesn't have the suction of a pump-driven vacuum but adequate if you are slow and patient. I'll still need to buy a separate brush as the bristles are inadequate for corners.
thank you I'm new to ordering on line. i really like it. the item i ordered was on time. very well package. the was what they said it was. i will do this again.. thank you again Walmart. Miss Lucy
It is a great price for this set and I don't believe you can find it any less expensive, because it was 3x the price in the store! As for quality, it isn't the best materials used, but by far, a long way from worst. For the money, and the quality - it's a perfect value and it comes with everything you need. To my surprise, this included patches, a thermometer, and test strips which I didn't know came with it. That made it a GREAT value, and I definitely would, and will, recommend this set to everyone with an above ground pool on a budget. For me, it was totally worth it!
Handy and affordable but doesnt get sand off bottom of pool completely but helps when moving slowly on the sureface to capture more sand and not just move it around with water spout open completely for more suction force. since we live in desert with potential high winds Needing to use frequently on water days.
The thermometer is way off. It's been in the 70s here and it shows the water temp is 107F. Ha. The chlorine holder is fine and works without issue. The vacuum is just ok. The sticks that measure balance are ok but I compared them to the others I have and they are a little off. This set is just meh in my opinion.
This isn't a very good set. The pole is flimsy and broke within a week. The vacuum had a leak and wasn't sucking up anything. I put super glue where the leak was. I put a stocking cap over the bag and zip tied it to the vacuum. Doing those things has helped the vacuum actually work. The floater doesn't stay open to release chlorine. I'm constantly having to adjust it. The strip seem to be off. Honestly I'd return this set if there were better options right now. Currently covid has thrown off the availability to most pool supplies so I have rigged and dealt with this set. If you can't find anything to clean your pool with it this will do but not long term.
The only good things in this kit, is the chlorine tab float and tester kit. The net and pole do not fit together well. Too loose. And the vacuum! The vacuum hole is not in the middle, so nothing goes in. Just waste of time, water and $$$$
waste of money! the pool suction cleaner that attaches to water hose is awful! does not suck up anything!
Its all trash. Cheaply made and doesnt work. You get what you pay for though. I wouldnt waste my money again.
