This was the perfect addition to our home gym. Assembly was surprisingly easier than I expected due to the organization of the pieces. The pieces were clearly labeled and organized.
Very easy to assemble instructions were simple. I was able to assemble it by myself. No need for a second person. The quality for the money is excellent. Highly recommend this or out equipment.
This thing is AMAZING! You can configure so many different ways, it works for the entire household! I'm only 5' 1" and my tallest son is 6'4". All of us fit great on it and works like a charm! Definetly worth EVERY PENNY! Quality is great!
This hack squat machine is gym quality easy to put together plus can't beat the price awesome addition to my home gym works as expected
This machine was very easy to put together as I did it alone. Took my about 3 hours to get assemble. Using the machine is very easy. There are a couple of things about the machine that I wish for, and maybe on the next ediration of the machine, it could probably be done is, the foot plates on both ends were slightly wider or bigger as my feet kind of slides to the edge when I press and squat. The other change I wish it had is the butt rest on the leg press side, if it were removable so when I am doing the hack squat I could go lower as I am a short guy and this area stops the machine from being effective for me. Overall, I use it with the limitations and I enjoy using it.
Arrived with a broken weld that was likely from transit. Seller was quick to respond and after some photos, they suggested finding a place to repair locally. Brought to an auto shop that did it the same day for around $42 that the seller promptly refunded. Very important during assembly to pay attending the direction of certain pieces, otherwise you will have to go back and redo them. For example, the review where they can't get the back support in for hack squats needs to reverse the shoulder pads so the little metal pin is in the back not the front. Overall seems to be a good value with good movement. We also had some pieces where the finish was chipped but a little Rustoleum did the trick. Agree the leg press pad could be a bit bigger so we'll likely focus on hack squats.
I am only giving them this rating because the range of motion on this isn't the best. The way this machine is get up I would recommend for a man not a women. We are much flexible and once the machine comes down it focuses our feet half way of the machine which defect the purpose of the workout. The foot guard is also very slippery and makes it hard to full squat because my foot keep slipping. Over all recommend for males not females.
*For the price! It's not bad.Installations for these type of things are always a headache, this one is no different .Always use your own tools to make the job easier/faster.I was able to put it together myself in a few hours but having a friend would help. Some cons:A few spots of coating missing and you could see the exposed metal had some surface rust, the back rest doesn't line up with the holes to do hack squats ,and sliding the bars that the sled slides on,I had about 3 small bearings just pop out.i guess itl hold up🤷🏽♂️.For a budget gym this is a good option, it looks good and functions*did not max out the weight and test*.Ive used a few different kinds of home gym leg pres machines that were in the 600-800$ range and this one feels close to the same.
The product is of very good quality, and the delivery was fast and secure; however, one of the new parts in my kit is bent, so I need to figure out how to replace it in order to finish assembling the unit.
The supportive pad for the back does not seem to fit into the whole as designed for the purpose of doing the Hack Squat exercise; thus making it unsafe and evem impossible to use.
