Frigidaire FRSS2323AS 22 Cu. Ft. 33" Standard-Depth Side by Side Refrigerator, Stainless Steel

It was a great purchase good quality for price line I do have a couple things that could improve this model Needs a drawer ,or extra shelf so much wasted space Could use better lighting ,would prefer bigger ice cubes Our last fridge was the same fridge but the seemed to remove some great features they need to put it back

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased FRSS2323AW to replace the same model which was 17 years old. It had needed servicing only once (water line leak- replaced), but when the compressor became loud and showed signs of refrigerant leak it was time for a new fridge before it quit cooling. I chose the same model because of familiarity of product, reliability, fridge/freezer configurations, and fit. I appreciate the improvements Frigidaire has made: ice maker, defrost, compressor, condenser, and evaporator are quieter than previous model; door bins are sturdier; drawers slide smoother; even with rear rollers eliminated it slides in/out from wall easier; doors and handles are smooth finish while sides are textured. Two things Frigidaire's manual doesn't cover but I recommend: after delivery, remove the inside tape/packaging/stickers before plugging it in as it's much more difficult once the cabinet is cold; twice a year remove the front kick plate to vacuum underneath and remove the back cover and vacuum the condenser coils/fan- good air flow is essential to the life of the compressor, condenser/fan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the side by side doors. It's so much easier to see all the food that I have in both the refrigerator and freezer. The ice and water dispenser on the door was something I didn't think I'd ever want, but now that it's there I wouldn't be without it.

Just new but already like the convenience of the side by side. We have the black stainless which is hard to find these days. Looks great when matched to the Frigidaire microwave and induction range. The unit is quiet and performs as a quality fridge should.

Everything is working as expected. On unpacking and setup the kick plate on the bottom doesn't attach properly? Could be I'm doing something wrong? Or an improvement is required?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Refrigerator works great, but a meat drawer would be nice. The freezer works great, except the ice maker shoots ice all over if you don't have the glass right up to the shoot. For small kids the ice goes all over the floor. Cleanup is constant when the kids are around, so a rug in front is always needed. A deeper catch pan with a removable tray would be great to catch some water and ice that doesn't quit hit all glasses and cups perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought this refrigerator 2 days ago to urgently replace a refrigerator that stopped working. I immediately noticed the loud humming sound. I believe it is normal operation of the compressor. But this is one of the loudest working refrigerators I've had. I notice the compressor hum constantly. I don't think I ever have before in other refrigerators and certainly not in the Samsung I replaced. I expected more from a Frigidaire. There's also not enough flexibility with shelf placement including the shelves on the fridge door.

This model is not meeting my needs. I really do not like or need the water and ice machine as it takes up all the space in the freezer. I wanted just a side by side refrigerator freezer but you don't seem to make them anymore. You should keep in mind tbat not everyone wants the water and ice maker and also you seem to make only 36" wide now and no more 33". Not everyone has the space for a 36". There should be a choice for our needs.
