Great mat! I was using a yoga mat which did not provide much knee support. This mat!!! Is amazing no more aching knees pure comfort and long and wide enough for all my strength training circuits. I am a tall gal 5'9 and this mat is good enough!

This is my first yoga mat, so I don't really have any basis for comparison. However this has been working well for me, so I'm glad I purchased this product. Being brand new, it is offgassing a scent that is reminiscent of a busy wharf at low tide, but I'm sure that will dissipate over time. All in all, this is a purchase I am happy I made, and I'm happy my friend recommended this brand of Yoga mat to me.

Perfect size and thickness especially for my knees!

So far this seems to work well for me it's thick enough so it doesn't hurt my knees on a wooden floor. I can put a chair on it and the indentations go away. My only complaint is the smell weird odor

The mat came a little bit damaged and the mat doesn't have very good grip. It's a strange texture to have your hands on and it's very very static-y. I realize it's not a yoga mat, but I would still like more grip for when I'm on my hands. I am using this now as a cushion under my regular yoga mat to help my knees since it is too static-y to exercise on directly. It's very squishy. For the price I can't complain too much

Great heavy mat! I got a thinner gaiam mat that I liked but slipped a lot on my living room carpet where I workout. This one is very thick and supportive so less slip. It does still curl a tad on the ends and the foam has chipped a small amount after a few uses. Overall recommend!

I use this mat for a lot of floor workouts that involve being on my back and knees. It's relieved all the pressure I had previously and is so comfortable. I would give it 5 stars because I like it so much, but it has a slight odor to it, which has been a little distracting, and doesn't provide very much grip for hands. I put another thin yoga mat on top of it and that has helped with those two issues.

Ok but much thicker and much wider and longer is better.

You get what you pay for, and you aren't getting/doing much of either. This mat is cheap. It's Noticeably starting to degrade after only one use. Disappointed because I expected Gaiam to offer quality mats.
