Gaiam Ultra-Sticky Alignment Yoga Mat, Fuchsia, 6mm Thickness, Made from PVC

I bought this Gaiam Sticky,Non-Slip Yoga mat for the thickness(6 mm), the surface(easy to grip with fingers and toes),and the placement guidelines on the front. It fits in any standard yoga bag. I am not crazy about the color, which is true to its picture online, but the other qualities more than make up for it. It is a little tiny bit heavier than a standard mat, but not enough to be awkward. I really like it.

I cannot speak to longevity, but I just got this mat last week, and it's awesome. Great size and heft, for the price. I wouldn't normally want to pay $20 for a yoga mat, but this one seems to be worth every penny. It does have a dinky carrying strap, but I'm not real concerned with that. Most yoga mats don't come with a carrying strap at all. I would def. purchase this again. But I've only used it 3-4 times.

I really love this yoga mat! It is super nice, thicker and well-made! Also, it's my favorite color! I love that it has the alignment lines on the mat. Happy to be starting my yoga journey!

Really love this mat. Not thick and cushy but really sticky which is what I needed. Color is great and love the alignment lines on it. Very functional and attractive as yoga mats go.

This is a great mat by my favorite yoga brand. Perfect thickness, just the right amount of stickiness, and a great price. Plus the lines are great guides for alignment.

Great quality might need a towel for slipping though

I was looking for a new mat and I loved it. Comfortable, not too thin but not too thick. Beautiful color, style and good quality.

This was a replacement mat. I take 4-6 yoga classes a week so it was time to change out the old one. The mat is much thicker and heavier than a standard yoga mat. It's not squishy, like an athletic mat, but it does provide more padding on the knees than a standard mat. I actually like the lines on it for alignment. The down side is it is not a good mat for hot yoga. It becomes much too slippery, much more than a regular "non-slip" mat. I tried it in a regular (not hot) yoga class and it was great. The weight alone will be a con for some people; it's fairly heavy, especially if you're used to just tossing a light mat over your shoulder.

Felt like a quality product. Just did not like the look or feel. Very stiff material not very flexible. I'm a beginner so I could see if you are advanced maybe you would like this matt. I ended going with there entry level matts 5mm w patterns. Even thought they are thinner they have more cushion better for a beginner: feel the brand is the best.

I didn't like the smell of this yoga mat. I waited for a few weeks to see if it would dissipate, but it did not. The mat was also not thick enough for me. I had to return it.
