This is a safe hook for birds! It came very well packaged and is really sturdy with the ground prongs. I've always thought these were silly...but not this one! I bought the 60" and I am happy! I have structure that is not up in a tree. Looks so expensive, nice glossy black.

I was looking for a tall set of Shepherds Hooks for my bird feeders. I like the 5 prong base, it holds the hook securely in the ground. I have a different one that doesn't have the 5 prong base and it constantly leans if it is windy. This one is very solid and stable and is exactly what I needed.

Strong, sturdy and tall. I had also purchased some shorter ones (48") that are just too short once something is hung on them. These are great, however. Used to hold a birdhouse.

I purchased this brand in the past and was very satisfied with the shepherd hooks. Purchased again but a shorter size. They are easy to assemble and are very sturdy because they have a 5 fork stake.; others often have 2 or 3. Very happy with the purchase.

These shepherd hook poles ae sturdy and with their five-forked base, will withstand strong wind and rain. We have 10 various birdfeeders in our back yard. A few are not as sturdy as these, with only two-fork bases, and my husband is always having to keep them from leaning or completely falling over. The five-fork base is a GREAT idea and keeps our poles upright and vertical the way they SHOULD be. I am very happy with my purchase and will recommend these to my family and friends.

I purchased these plant hangers as a set and was very impressed with the quality and sturdiness of them. I gifted one to my daughter who lives three hours away, and today I tried to assemble the other one and there was one rod that was not threaded properly and I cannot complete the installation. I contacted Walmart and they won’t return it because I don’t have both items. All I needed was a part. So this whole process is very deflating and I hope that the person I gifted this to isn’t having the same problem.

I ordered these because I wanted to hang a hummingbird feeder on them. I was disappointed that only one of the hanging poles was tall enough to use. It's as if I'm missing a piece of a pole, which made one much shorter than described. I will use it for something but not a bird feeder. The poles are strong, well made and should last. Just be aware that they may not both 92 inches.

I ordered this item because I needed it to be 6ft tall the description says it is 76 inches in reality after putting it in the ground it’s only 51inches tall it doesn’t even measure to 76 inches before putting it in the ground, I’m disappointed I ordered them in the winter time and I’m just putting them up now. Don’t buy if you are looking for a taller shepherd hook.

Still have not received these shepherd hooks. I was supposed to receive them Saturday, April. 11th a minute moved to Wednesday and now it says Thursday. They are still in California.
