Anywhere you need to fill, seal, and insulate this is your friend. I used it around the pipes in the basement where I could se light from outside. It's recommended that you wear a mask, long sleeves, goggles, and gloves. It should not come in contact with your skin. I washed my hands but ended up peeling it off. It expands so maybe fill the space to half of what you need. I have seen people saw off the excess. Just use less. It's a one time only use product so plan accordingly.
this is a simple and inexpensive way to keep heat or cold air in. Also to keeps out thing that you don't want coming in.Which can be endless from insects to water.👍
It worked very well as a "glue" for sealing a return air duct to drywall. Don't touch it for about 20 minutes because it took that long to really firm up.
This stuff is the bomb! It seals just about anything and is super easy to apply. Worth every penny! I used it to seal my toilet and holes in my bathroom.
I couldn't turn down the price for such a good product. Half what others wanted online. It's a great item to have on hand. Keep it indoors so it has a longer shelf life.
this stuff is magical the ceiling cracks and crevices among other things but very difficult to use if you're not experienced with it and it gets very very sticky and hard to get off so keep that in mind but when you get good at applying it it's great item
GE Gaps %26 Cracks Insulating Foam, Yellow, 12oz can ~ This is a general purpose spray foam with great adhesion that fills gaps UP TO 1 inch. This is NOT closed cell insulation foam, weather proof, or fire blocking construction foam. This is a general purpose open cell adhesive sealant designed to close up gaps that might allow pests, insects, and drafts. It's easy to apply even on vertical surfaces . Spray sparingly laying a bead the same size as the nozzle diameter (no need to fill the entire gap ~ this stuff expands). Allow your initial application to cure then if necessary fill in as needed with a second application. Before you begin, plan where you're going to use an entire can of this stuff because it's a one time use process and what you don't use is wasted. The price for this product is fair but should be less.
Works well and performs as expected. Does not over expand, so there is some level of control. For deeper gaps it's easier to apply multiple layers to avoid waste and over expansion. The only complaint is you need to purchase extra dispensing tubes as with most products, your one and done and waste is unacceptable
purchased 2 pack, very disapointed one can worked perfect the other only able to uae 1/2 the can due to lack of propellant, the first half worked just fine!
horrible worst foam ever used! wouldn't stick to anything then all fell out by next morning. wasted whole can. returning other can!
