GE Stainless Steel 12-Cup Coffee Maker

Great quality. Carafe is comfortable in your hand. The lid goes on with a quick twist so it does not flap open when pouring. It is shaped so you don't have to turn it completely upside down to empty. There is an option to set how long the hot plate stays on. Three quick, soft beeps to let you know when coffee is done. It has a gold cone to hold the grounds or you can use paper cones. The clock is very visible and easy to set. It comes with a charcoal filter. The cord can be pushed into the back to eliminate a long cord stuffed behind or laying on the counter. I love the gray color instead of black. I'm very happy with this coffeemaker.

im a daily coffee drinker can't live without it!! I've been through several coffee pots and this is hands down the very best coffee pot I've EVER had!! The stainless steel is stylish, the LCD illuminates the time and the brew, the hot plate can be set to stay on up to 4 hours as well as the temp setting for the hot plate, permanent filter or paper filters whichever you choose, and a retractable power cord! This coffee pot literally has it all it checks all the boxes! im so glad i bought this coffee pot!

I read other peoples reviews of this coffeemaker and I did not have any problems with it. as far as the lid where you pour the water into, the lis stayed stationery without falling on your had ehile pouring water into it. it makes a great pot of coffee. i purchased the one wirh the stainless steel carafe which the coffee did stay hot for 3-1/2 hours. the charcoal water filter in the left side of the water well needs to be pushed in snug so it will not fall to the side. I recommend buying this GE Drip Stainless Steel 10 cup Coffee Maker that has the stainless steel carafe. I just hope this coffee maker lasts. I do clean the coffee water compartment out by pouring distilled vinegar into it once a month and let it sit for an hour or so to liosrn any calcium build up to break loose. Then I run 4 pots of clean water thru the coffee maker and put a paper filter in the basket to catch the calcium sediment. It sounds like a lot of work just to clean calcium build up and most people would just buy another coffee maker instead of going through alot of trouble cleaning it out. I change the charcoal filter pod each time I clean it out as well. i know that city water has alot of chemical in the water as well as calcium in the water and it is hard on all coffee makers. But I have a deep well water and it does have some sediment, so I use a counter top water filter to filter out any additional sediment coming through the water pipes. anyway, I like this coffee maker. it makes a great pot of coffee!

I love this coffee maker! It's easy to use and the stainless sreel carafe ensures the coffe doesn't get burnt.

the part the filter sits in does not seat well everytime, so be careful when making coffee. the silver on the handle has pulled off. coffee is good. like the timing schedule and it's easy to use.

It is easy to use and settings are easy to change. It makes coffee no worse or better than lower priced units. It is a sturdier machine than other coffee makers I have used.

pouring water from carafe into coffee maker is awkward and you always spill water in the process.

I purchased this coffee maker to replace mine that quit working. Unfortunately this coffee maker does not keep coffee warm long - so you got to drink your coffee quickly if you want it hot. The carafe is nice, but the spout just dribbles coffee out. I would NOT recommend this coffee maker to my friends and family. Definitely NOT worth the price I paid. I would return it, but Walmarts return policy is ridiculous!

The carafe doesn't keep the coffee hot. It starts hot; however, within 1/2 hour the coffee is warm at best. The thermal carafe should keep the coffee hotter much longer.

design doesn't allow one to completely empty the pot of water for coffee into the reservoir. leaks a lot of coffee onto warmer when removing pot from warmer.
