General Electric 4-Slice Toaster, Stainless Steel with Removable Tray

Upon placing my first slice of toast in the GE 4 - Slice Toaster, the toast came out perfectly even on both sides and perfectly brown set at the 4 ½ setting, maybe a tinge of a difference but still pleased. A slight odor at the beginning to most likely burn off the elements. After that, the toaster was fine. Easy to use settings illuminated in blue and the dial settings have positive clicks. I opted for the stainless version as I am quite satisfied as to the quality and performance. The large sized toaster slots are very welcome as one can place Texas toast or bagels within with no problems. Quite pop up mode when toast is finished. About three minutes for one slice of toast set at 4 ½ .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to try a GE Brand of toaster. What a classy elegant 4 slice toaster! It is simple to use. The design is classy, clean, and functional. We love the variety of toast options that has 7 shades of doneness. We especially love how turning the knob "clicks" to the number selected to how much you want your toast done (lightly to dark). The slots are big enough for anything you want toasted. It toasts everything perfectly. This toaster was well thought out. It looks great on our countertop. It is easy to clean as well. We also got it at a great sales price. We would highly recommend this GE 4 slice toaster.

Replaced my 18 year old GE Toaster. This one is very nice looking. Love the wider slots and that it pops up higher. Settings accurate. Do wish the cord was in the back instead of the side.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have no need for the bagel button, but then every toaster has it, so whatever. Otherwise, a great replacement for our old GE toaster of 15 years.

After years using a toaster oven, I had to downsize to a toaster after we moved and my countertop space was limited. I searched for a long time and looked at many different products. I own GE appliances in my kitchen and my washer and dryer, a GE toaster was my first consideration… But I wanted to weigh it against other products. So very glad that I stuck with the GE brand. It has been reliable and toasts to perfection. So glad I purchased it. I will always stick with GE!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Appears to be a quality GE product, nice finish, controls very simple, performed a couple of pre burns. It works, toasts bread well, took a couple of try's to get browning setting the way I like. Tomorrow we tackle a bagel or a hamburger bun

Just set up this toaster today. It is a good looking Appliance however, I can see where fingerprints and smudges are going to be a problem all over this toaster. I went through the set of procedures and then made my first two pieces of toast. I had the setting on seven or maximum browning and it took a really long time and unfortunately came out rather light. Haven't decided whether or not, I will be keeping this toaster yet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cannot see the toast level knob settings. It gets washed out in the stainless steel look. This should be addressed. I had to mark “dots” with a black marker to see the set level.
