This was exactly as advertised. My use was for my outdoor weatherstation unit, and this was perfect. Corners are square, made it easy to level.

This product is definetly a keeper! Me and my mother being our own "handyman" this was SUPER EASY and less than a 30 minute install, it's very sturdy! I am 9 months pregnant and had it up in absolutely no time! So glad we found this product, who ever thought of this is genius. We would without a doubt purchase this again and we 100% reccomend this item to any and everyone!! Thank you wal mart. Completely satisfied!!

Easy to install. I feel the cross beam need a brace added, it is attached by only two screws, which don't have enough length going into the post.

Cheaply Made. Don't Waste Your Money!!

The mailbox post came quickly, however, the post didn't come with a hole for the base to be inserted. The pieces of wood are not cut well, so they do not fit flush. The wood isn't 100% cedar. Part of it is a cheap wood that has been glued to the cedar. It's a very light colored wood and really stands out against the cedar. We tried to turn it where it would be seen the least. It also didn't come with the piece of wood shown, where the mailbox should be attached to the post. Overall, we are very disappointed in our purchase.

The product was shipped to my door, which was great. However, the rough wood cedar has some splits. Also, the 1x6 1/4x12 inch board sent with the kit has rotting tunneling (looks like from a bug) and came with a couple pieces that had fallen off where the wood rot is. The post will need to be cemented to last longer.

When I read the reviews it seemed fairly simple to install. If I knew what I know NOW---I would have NEVER bought it. The people that said they completely installed it in 20min to an hour....HA! HA! HA!----what a LIE! Those people must be some promoters writing a review on behalf of the maker. It will probably take you longer than that just to find a spot where the steel bar doesn't hit rock!!! Roads have a bed of rock before they actually lay the pavement on top. You...just like me...are gonna keep hitting those rocks. Unless you are setting this mailbox post/bar in pure sand or the middle of your yard, you are gonna hit rocks!! Was trying to get away from having to buy a post hold digger....looks like that isn't gonna happen. VERY disappointed. Do NOT buy this thing. I would return it, but its 3/4 put together. It would take the rest of the day just to freekin take it apart....not to mention how mad it would continue to make me.
