I've used the FLEXN Seal freezer storage bags for years. The Quart size is very versatile - there are so many ways to use them - and the bags are generously stretchy. I might cut up a roast or pork tenderloin or chicken for casseroles or quick meals later and think, uh oh, this won't all fit into one freezer bag. But it does. The bags are very strong, so I don't worry about leaks, either. Storage bags aren't exciting, but I appreciate being able to depend on these.
These are perfect for freezing something like spaghetti sauce because the bag stretches as the sauce expands during the freezing process. The quality is extremely high, not thin and flimsy like store brands or dollar stores. Well worth the few pennies extra cost! No more mess in my freezer!
IT WAS MY FIRST TIME USING THE FLEX BAGS AND I THINK THEY ARE GREAT AND MAKES IT EASIER TO STORE IN THE FREEZER WITHOUT WORRING ABOUT STACKING BECAUSE THEY GRIP EACH OTHER.
I love the product. Wrapped around my food and easy to remove the air from bag. Sad that it was delivered in an envelope and it was smashed.
It is new and I read about it and wanted to try and I believe this will be just what I wanted to use for different storage problems.
These bags DO give you extra room so you dont have to use gallon bags when all you need is tad more room for a qt. Bag. However ,dont Think the inside clings and traps air out like the flex seal wrap does. I know that this was not a claim the company made but flex seal Name may mislead you. They DO stretch
I spent a frustrating 10 minutes trying to find the start of a new roll of this product. Although I eventually did so, wasting 2 or 3 feet of the wrap in the process, I was sufficiently irritated to submit this comment. And what do you know? The reviews are filled with similar comments from others. I scribbled on the package "hard to start; try different brand". Congratulations to your design team: you have saved a fraction of a penny and lost a customer!
As many others have stated, huge issue with starting. (Number on box 7325 351 00:11 02). Ultimately, ended up using a razor to start and lost 5 plus feet of useable wrap. I may need to stick with Saran brand. By the way Shannon, your statement is false if there are many people having the same issue, please tell Corporate to fix the issue. Here is Shannon's statement I have seen posted several times. "Shannon from The Glad Team Thank you for trying our Cling'N Seal Wrap. We apologize for the inconvenience. The last few inches of the wrap are lightly embossed to reduce cling and make it easier to use. For further assistance, please call us at 800-835-4523 and reference ref# 260519-000195. We look forward to speaking with you soon." Hey Shannon, the is the start of the roll NOT the last few inches at the end
Unusable. Almost impossible to get it to unroll without tearing, then it doesn't cut along the lid flap without stretching so that it comes off as a useless mess that has clung together. Very frustrating to try to get it to separate so it can be used to, oh, span a bowl. I have to tape it to the counter and cut it with a knife to get a piece that can be used. How this survives in the marketplace is a mystery.
I bought two rolls of Glad ClingNSeal and could not get either roll started no matter how hard a tried. I even tried to cut a starting point with a razor blade and it still would not unroll. Somebody at Glad probably decided that they could make a penny or two more profit by eliminating the easy start tab. I then bought a roll of Reynolds plastic wrap and it works perfectly. I am glad to say goodbye to Glad wrap. I tried to add a pic below but that doesn't even work.
