These are great vitamins go my teen!

They are bigger than a 3” pillar but I love them. They look just like the picture.

Great supplement for any vitamin my preteen might be falling short on.

So hard to find a multivitamin pill form for a teen with Invisalign, happy they provide them!

I have tried 3 other Teen vitamins, but this one has been the keeper. It makes my 12 year old feel better and she hates the taste of all the gummie ones. Though the pills are large (like most multi-vitamins are) , She much prefers these and doesn't mind taking them. They definitely help her moods and she has noticed a tremendous improvement in her fingernails!

The pills are too big for her to swallow, so I just cut them in half with a pill cutter and that does the trick. I have not seen any changes in her as of yet, but I am not really sure what to look for anyway. She is a very picky eater and in her early stages of puberty, so I am hoping that as she continues to take this vitamin she will not have any vitamin deficiencies as things progress.

Who knew it'd be hard to find daily vitamins for teenage girls that aren't gummies? Well, it's true and although I'm sure there are others out there, the only product I've found which fits the bill -- and doesn't get stuck in my girls' teeth -- are these GNC multivitamins. My only gripe -- and the reason I didn't give them 4 stars -- is that it's not a one-a-day product -- my girls need to take 2 pills every morning to receive the recommended daily vitamins doctors recommend. The pills themselves aren't tiny so it's surprising that the good people at GNC couldn't figure out a way to get all the necessary nutrients into one pill. Is it a tricky way to get us to buy more vitamins? I wouldn't put it past any for-profit company. Regardless, since I consider gummies to be candy, these yellow beauties work well for a family with two teenage young women. We just have to buy replacement bottles faster than you can say "smart packaging, GNC!"

These pills are huge and if cut in half for A younger teen, the taste is horrible!! Get chewable especially with braces!!

Two pills a day (the recommended dose) provides 100% of the daily value of iron. For my 16 year old daughter, that was just too much. After taking these for two weeks we ended up in ER. She had lower right abdominal pain, out of concern that it was appendicitis, had ultrasound then CT scan. Only to find out she was severely constipated! She had bowel movement the day before. This pain was very sudden and severe. She was writhing in pain and crying. When doctors asked about medicines she was on I forgot all about this vitamin supplement It was only after we were home that I realized that I probably caused this problem for her by buying this supplement and insisting she take it to possibly help her acne. It should come in an iron -free formula or have a warning about the effects of adding a lot of iron to a teen's diet. I want her to take a multivitamin but I don't want to cause more problems for her.
