GoodCook PRO Soak & Strainer Colander

Lately, I've been looking for items to make my life simpler without putting a burden on my wallet! Who isn't? When I found this GoodCook Pro Strainer Colander, I just had to click on it! Not only did it interest me, the design and color interested me also! When I read about this strainer, I thought, I just had to get it but what sold me on it even more, was the price! Something I desperately needed to make my life easier, throw in the price, design and cool colors, I added it to my things I couldn't live without!! the product does what it made for. very convenient compact not too big

I buy my strawberries from Costco in 2 pound clamshells. This bowl is not big enough to handle 2 pounds of strawberries so they are almost falling out the top and I can't really rinse them well because there's not enough water to berry ratio…. I've tried washing cherries and grapes and have the same problem when I buy at least 2 pounds of each at a time they just don't fit in this bowl. The design is good and I like the materials and the color, but it can only handle 1 pound of any fruit at a time. I wish they made a bigger size of the same design.

Was a cheap solution to old procedure of cleaning veggies, grapes, or water from canned items . But the plastic was not very sturdy after heating. I was in error thinking this was a larger bowl for doing family sized meals. I was in error not realizing it was less sturdy. I need to pay greater attention before ordering. Price was good for what was sold.

Easy to use. Like the removable strainer. Good price for what you get. Dishwasher safe. Lightweight.

its only really good for a mixing bowl, stainer/ colender absolutely not. the lid pops off eveey time you strain anything...
