Square design means it fits in my fridge perfectly with minimal space. the top makes it so easy to pull back either side of the lid to put new water in. the spout literally just screws on in a couple of seconds. and the filter itself just drops in without having to fit it in wiggle it or screw it in. great price quality product. and in my opinion better than the more expensive brand names
This is a nice filtered water dispenser. It fits perfectly in our fridge. We're on our second one because our daughter dropped the first one and it broke. We do like the taste of the filtered water better than tap water. I don't think it increases our water intake, but we like it. When the first one broke, we weren't going to replace it because we felt like this was an unnecessary item since we have tap water, but after a week without it, we replaced it. It's easy to maintain and the filtration is comparable to Brita. We have a small Brita filter pitcher for our coffee maker and this great value pitcher and filter work just as well.
I was scared to buy this lot of the reviews said it leaks. mine didn't leak. I love it. fits in my fridge comes with a filter 10 out of 10 would recommend
This is a must have! Works good fits in refrigerator easily and has great capacity only flaw it when u lift the front flap open to refill , it falls inside container
Bought this filter to reduce the mineral buildup in my coffee maker. I love that it's bigger in size compared to most others. And it's easy to use. My coffee even tastes better!
Just a great water filter and pitcher, easy to setup and use. Purchased for myself and pet cats, water tastes great and my pets can tell the difference between tap water and the filtered. They choose the filtered every time.
I've only ever had the pitcher countertop Britas and thought I would try this, so here are the pros and cons of this one: PRO: -you don't have to wait for the water to filter before you use it, because the spout's on the bottom. <--This is the most major benefit! You can add new water but continue to use it while it filters, instead of having to wait. -holds more water: enough for a coffee machine tank :) So important!!! No more filling halfway and having to wait, because who wants to wait for their coffee??? Really. -fits nicely on the counter -the spigot is easy enough for my kids to work, instead of trying to lift a heavy pitcher CONS: -we used to have an issue with algae in one of the countertop pitchers we didn't use much. Every few weeks we would notice the green tint of algae in the bottom, and have to wash it out. With this design, the same design feature that lets you have water while it filters (namely, the spout on the bottom) also means water is always sitting in the bottom. We haven't had a problem with algae growth in the bottom yet, and I'm hoping the constant water flow through there decreases the risk, but I thought I would mention it as a possibility. -the one thing I wish is that they would track the replacement filter by the number of gallons used instead of the average drinking rate. Technically the manual says it has to be replaced after 42 gallons, but if you don't drink exactly the average (or you fill coffee machine tanks etc.), you'll have to do some math to figure out when exactly you need to replace it. I'm also not sure how to reset the count once it's replaced (haven't gotten that far yet). -you're not going to lift this to the sink to refill like with the pitcher. Instead, we use an empty pitcher to refill the top and leave this one permanently on our counter. We haven't had leaks or any other issues so far.
The design of the lid is horrible. It barely sits on top of the pitcher. When you open it to fill it with water, the whole thing falls in. You have to remove the whole lid rather than just lifting it up. When putting it back on, it is likely it will end up in the water tank again. It is very frustrating. The water filter is good. The rest of the design is good.
The spigot leaks. I have only been using it for two days and flooded my fridge once so I took it out and tightened it more and it's still leaking enough to fill a wash cloth in under 3 hours. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Typically, I would've returned it, but I already threw the box away.. DO NOT BUY
The product was impossible to assemble because the interior wouldn't separate to attach the faucet device. I worked on it for 2 hours and managed to get it together, but then it dripped water all over the fridge and floor.
