Great Value Canned Hot Diced Green Chiles, 4 oz

I am a chile snob and always prefer Hatch. I decided to give the Great Value a try because the price was so much less. I am glad I tried them. They are slightly spicy but not hot and have a great aroma. I have tried the other "name brand Mexican" chiles and have been disappointed with no flavor or smell. I will definitely buy these again.

The first time I got these I was thinking,ok it will do,now I don't make my chill, enchiladas, and burritos with out them. Just the right amount of taste and little bit of heat,it's not that hot, but it packs a lot of flavor. I added these to my regular orders now.

My husband accidentally purchase the hot rather than the mild but we figured we’d just go with it since it wasn’t worth a trip back to the store before making dinner. We added it into a taco quinoa skillet dish that we make pretty often (it’s easy to make and delicious!) and were slightly worried it would be too hot but there are lots of different ingredients and it’s a slightly soupy dish - so we thought maybe it’d blend in anyways. It ended up working great! It did have more kick than the mild, of course, but it was just the right amount of runny nose to flavor ratio so we ate it all! We may just continue buying the hot for that recipe!

Green chli peppers with excellent flavor and,a nice little zing for taste buds. Flavor without being overwhelming

I add these to my spicy chicken soup that I make with enchilada sauce and Monterey jack cheese along with cream cheese. Yummy 😋

always enjoy gv products. these chiles are not hot. they do add a good chile taste to green chile hamburger stew, bean burritos, etc.

The perfect ingredient for a spicy dish !! These chilies don't play at all !! A must have if you like spicy dishes !!

Being from New Mexico where we grow the best green chile in the world I should have known better not to try this product but it did save me in a time of need and it was at a great price. And for those of you that know, it's chile not chili. 😁

I want to like this due to the price but ... in 2 cans I found pieces of stem and tough skin even after cooking. It's not pleasant to have to pull pieces out of your mouth to put on the plate while eating.

These are not spicy/hot at all. They have little flavor. I needed them for a recipe, and they let me down.
