Great Value Distilled White Vinegar, 64 fl oz

I use it in my kitchen sink because it been clogged for a month. I add baking soda and Dawn dish detergent. And hot water for extra protection in the pipes. They work well together. I’ve been waiting for the maintenance guy to come snake it. In the meantime, the white vinegar, baking soda and Dawn loosens the clog.

I actually use this for household cleaning and to get rid of bugs around the house like spiders and ants. you just mix half cup water/half cup vinegar in spray bottle and use to clean counter tops or cracks in walls where bugs are and keeps them away.

I use Great Value vinegar mainly to keep my sink drains open. About once a month, I put half a box of GV baking soda in the drain first, then pour a couple of cups of GV vinegar into the drain, let it fizz a little, then pour in a quart or so of boiling water. This keeps the drains working and smelling decent.

The Great Value half gallon of vinegar is a very serious jug of very serious liquid… but I am here to expose what it CANNOT DO, because frankly, I feel lied to. First of all, it cannot turn into a dinosaur. I poured some into a bowl, waited patiently, even said “rawr” a few times—nothing. Not even a tiny lizard. Completely unacceptable. It also cannot make me taller. I stood next to it, drank a little (bad idea), stood again—still the same height. If anything, I felt shorter emotionally. Vinegar cannot be juice. I tried to pretend. I really did. Took a sip like, “mmm refreshing” and my face immediately folded into a crumpled napkin. This is NOT juice. This is angry water. It also cannot do my chores. I left it by a dirty plate overnight like, “you got this buddy,” and guess what? Plate still dirty. Vinegar just sat there like a lazy little stink jug. It cannot be a pet. I tried talking to it. No response. Didn’t wag. Didn’t blink. Just stared at me with its weird clear nothingness like, “I am liquid. That is all.” Also—VERY IMPORTANT—it cannot stop me from making bad decisions. I held the jug and said, “Should I eat an entire frozen pizza at 2am?” and it said NOTHING. Not even a warning smell. Fake friend. It cannot power my lawnmower, cannot fix my WiFi, and cannot make my dog respect me. (She sniffed it once and walked away. Honestly kinda rude.) And don’t even get me started on superpowers. I drank some expecting at least one ability—maybe acid spit, maybe super speed—NOPE. Just regret and a mouth that tasted like I licked a battery. In conclusion, the Great Value vinegar: Cannot be juice 🚫 Cannot be a dinosaur 🚫 Cannot clean dishes by itself 🚫 Cannot be your friend 🚫 Cannot stop you from being dumb 🚫 0/10 at being magical, 0/10 at being fun, 10/10 at being a big jug of mean stinky water.

I use Great Value Distilled White Vinegar to sanitize my cat’s area and as a natural deodorizer in the laundry. For musty towels, I add 1 cup to a cold wash cycle—goodbye damp smell! Then I run a normal hot cycle with Gain liquid detergent. The result? Clean, fresh-smelling towels every time. It works perfectly! Great on salads too!

I used this vinegar on everything. my fav is mixing 1/2 water/ 1/2 vinegar to rinse my dog to get the soap out. ALL bugs hate vinegar and it makes her coat SO silky and clean. for laundry, it takes out smells like nothing else. plus, I have hard water and vinegar makes the soap more effective. (lather like it's suppose to). I could go on and on but for the money, this might be my favorite product of all.

I love the product of white vinegar. So many uses. That is why I ordered 128 oz bottle for delivery, which WM must have been fresh out of stock. Instead, I got a replacement of 64 oz. Not too many people want a size that big but if they do, WM might want to stock more. Thanks!

As far as I am concerned, all white vinegars are the same. I do not use white vinegars in foods. I mainly use white vinegar for cleaning my orthodonic retainers. and it does an excellent job of cleaning them and removing any bad smells. The white vinegar might be good for cleaning false teeth also.

Like many other people, I prefer to soak my fruit and veggies in a combo of vinegar and water before eating. For the amount of product that this contains and for the price, this is a win-win situation!! I will purchase this again because it's an amazing deal!!

I use white vinegar for my laundry believe it or not! It's great for use as fabric softener. Just poor it in where the softener goes, and let it do it's work. It even cleans out where the softener goes! Also great for cleaning out any kind of coffee pots! Just make sure you rinse it through a couple of times, and voila,, it's ready for a new pot, or pod of coffee!
