Great Value French Roast, 100% Arabica Dark Ground Naturally Caffeinated Coffee, 22.6 oz

I wish I had found this years ago it tastes so much better than The expensive coffee I was drinking and it doesn't leave you with such an acidy stomach. Definitely will buy again. Online, because I would never set foot in my local Walmart without armed bodyguards anymore.

It's pretty good I like to mix it 50/ 50 with my maxwell house columbian coffee! Prices went up so much on the maxwell house that I had to do something? I'm not a star bucks bitter coffee person lol" Plus I'm not rich enough to go there any way. I'm a retired farmer on a fixed income!

I wanted a less expensive coffee. We drink columbian coffee, so I thought I would try the Great Value brand. Was it as tasty as Folgers? Almost. For the price it was acceptable. It was good enough I bought it twice. Better than a lot of other generic brands of Columbian coffee.

FYI.. Dark roast has less acid %26 easier on the stomach.. especially if you have Gerd or similar issues. I drink coffee from 7am -noon . About24- 32 oz . It comforts , energizes %26 satisfies me, helping keep my weight down. I’m so glad I discovered this affordable brand dark roast. Before I always had indigestion but I didn’t want to give up my coffee. Now I don’t have to!!

I drink A-LOT of coffee %26 this.one had become the only coffee ive bought, for like 10yrs.. a little more expensive than say, foldgers or maxwell.. but that's expected being it's made w higher quality/Arabica coffee beans. and, bc i love drinking a good coffee, this one became 1 of a few grocery items Id splurge on.. it didnt break the bank %26 uses to be worth it. ***UNTIL NOW!! Wal-Mart is now PRICE GOUGING.its customers %26 its not ok!! OVER $15.00 for this one in tin can %26 almost $20 ($19. %26 some cents)for a bit bigger bag?!?! r u serious rn?!?! was just in the store %26 the GREAT VALUE/WAL-MART BRAND coffee here now costs "MORE- THAN" a (same sized) McCafe/McDonalds coffee!this is pure GREED!! they have also created their own of every popular item imaginable, of other brands offer, now they've slowly started eliminating all those other popular brands, leaving you ZERO choices, other than?? you guessed it... GREAT VALUE BRANDS!!! they got us in a corner %26 started GOUGING us folks!!! wasn't Wal-Mart was founded on the theory behind more "affordable" costs for everyday stuff?! ya right.."throw back" must mean, pushing products %26 jacking prices for an already multi trill dollar co. 100greed

1 star for price! 4.5 stars for taste! Why has this coffee went from less than $10 to over $16 overnight?!? What is the basis for such a huge price increase? I have bought this coffee for years but now absolutely will NOT pay $16 for this! Come on Walmart, go back to the price it was! $16 is robbery!

This coffee is so bitter and has a horrible medicine like after taste. I tried brewing with less grounds and a pinch of salt to cut the bitterness and it's still nasty tasting. for how much coffee has gone up it should taste like coffee and not smell like wet ashtray. horrible coffee

I have bought this for awhile, the product itself is fine. I won't be buying again. I can get the same thing, same size, at Kroger for about half the price. If their price changes, I will just adjust my consumption and habits. Companies quietly upping the prices on struggling consumers. What a shame.

Just don’t think of it as coffee and it’s fine. The chemicals used to decaffeinate this product remain in high quantities and make my guts and skin hate me. However, it serves the purpose of something of a treat in the morning, but is HIGHLY PROCESSED. With flavored creamer and made “thick” it is almost coffee-like. Do not recommend drinking black, unless one is used to bad coffee. When a friend called decaf “sad bean juice” I felt it in my soul after having this. As I said , pretend it isn’t coffee, but a slightly caffeinated beverage than causes irritation and it’s acceptable as a different kind of hot breakfast beverage from a coffee bean in another family. The irritation of the bowels, skin, and muscles makes me limit this to 2, 6 ounce serving maximum. It’s been a nice break from my bowels not moving at all, but decaf shouldn’t cause rapid weight loss due to upset stomach.

Coffee tastes okay, nothing spectacular about it. I think maybe I use a little more coffee than another brand to get the taste I like, but the savings between the other brand and this Great Value was quite significant, so it was totally worth it. Fast forward from May 13, when I paid less then $10 for the 25 oz can, to July 6, and the same can now costs over $16!! That’s more than the brand name I had been purchasing. That is ridiculous!!!
