In my house, if something needs salt… it's probably getting garlic salt instead. This gets used on just about everything, meats, veggies, eggs, you name it. It adds that extra layer of flavor that plain salt just doesn't. Good balance of garlic and salt, consistent, and works just as well as any of the more expensive brands I've tried. This is one of those seasonings I never let run out.
I used to buy Lawry's garlic salt but I switched to this. I prefer the taste of this garlic salt to that of Lawry's. It does cake up and harden if you live in a humid environment like I do. I found that by storing it in the freezer, it eliminated that problem.
Great Value Garlic Salt is a pantry staple in my kitchen. It adds just the right amount of garlic flavor and salt to everything from meats and vegetables to potatoes and eggs. The flavor is consistent, the container is easy to use, and the price is hard to beat. Great quality for everyday cooking, and I'll definitely keep buying it.
Absolutely perfect for the offgrid lifestyle, highly recommended, great taste, great value and can't beat the price, will be definitely buying again 😁
This is so good on so many things. My favorite is homemade garlic toast. My son like to use it on lots of other things. he gets pretty creative with it
I use garlic on a lot of stuff, but minced garlic can not go everywhere. I use this on a lot of my roasted vegetables. And on frozen potatoes. I even tried it on popcorn, not bad. And the price is amazing. :-)
Great value garlic salt. I am against the price increase by Walmart considering these items are all coming in from another country. First, it was the price increase of the diesel for fuel but we never saw a reduction when gas prices went down. It is garlic salt. The item is okay. Just cheaper than McCormick which I can't afford nowadays.
I bought both GV brands of garlic salt. The organic does not have anti-clumping ingredients, so you must add dried rice or cotton. The non-organic is primarily salt with a small taste of garlic, which reflects the photo. The organic tastes much more of garlic, better ingredients, and glass is the best way to store herbs and spices.
Extremely salty. I love salt I use it a whole lot on almost everything. I know it is garlic salt but you can't taste the garlic because of the saltiness. I ended up mixing it with 1 1/2 bottles of garlic powder to even the taste to make it useable. I'm just thankful that I tasted it before I made my shrimp sauce.
I asked for Laurie seasoning, salt you give me some generic seasoning salt that's not good. You cannot replace the original seasoning salt with no generic seasoning salt I am returning it.
