Great Value Long Grain Enriched Rice, 10 lb

I love the size and the rice was clean. No bugs or moths and that was important....to me. I rinse my rice before using and also put it in the freezer when I get it. That will kill anything in rice. After that I save the large bags Walmart sends for storing in the fridge. You have to use an extra cup of water to have perfect rice, especially in casseroles. If you don't want to do that while cooking, let it soak 30 minutes before you start and pour it in. Great Price, Good Rice.

For the 10 lbs. bag, this a big saving. Wish it comes as brown rice, too.

Long grain rice as good as Uncle Ben's. Cooks up evenly and fluffy. Worth the money.

Rice is a normal staple in our house and this rice has been the choice for my family for quite some time now. Think about it, rice goes with any kind of meat or fish and compliments many other dishes and casseroles. Add some broccoli and cheese for a healthy side dish.

Enriched rice that makes you feel good after eating it. I had this in storage for a good 8 months and not a single rice weevil appeared in the bag, which means the factory that produced it is top notch. Other brands stored with it, along with great value saltines, could not say the same thing. whole wheat great value saltines were g2g!

I always bought this rice and it cooked very well and was easy to digest. Now, it is not the same. It takes more water to cook and I am talking with the rice cooker. The worst thing is, after eating it, my stomach puffs and feels as hard as a rock, and it is hours later before it gets digested from my stomach

I love this rice and it works VERY well for us. My husband is Latino and eats rice daily so what I do is pour 4 cups rice and about 3.2 cups water into our rice cooker and add 3 heaping tablespoons of salt and 6 tablespoons of olive oil and it comes out perfect every time. Not hard or smushy. Once it's done cooking you have to go in and mix and fluff it so it doesn't conform to the shape of the pot. I'm only giving lower stars this time because I opened this and there were several flying bugs and I had to throw out the entire bag basically.

Rice is decent, but considering the price, it is still a good value. The only drawback is that the bag is broken and has a hole when I receive it. So the rice is leaking and goes everywhere into all my other items in the same package. I have to spent time cleaning all the stuff and tape that hole to prevent further leaking.

The bag was busted open and entire bag of rice was in the box and the box had been opened and rice was spilling onto carport. I won't return the rice because I don't want to take chance if getting virus. I am sure the delivered was well aware the package was open and rice coming out.
