Great Value Organic Fennel Seed, 1.6 oz

I wanted to make homemade pizza using Italian sausage and cheese toppings. Unfortunately the meat was not well seasoned. I added the fennel seed to it and it gave the sausage a taste that was reminiscent of the days when the butcher made and seasoned it from an old family recipe. I'm not sure why certain spices have been eliminated but I have no problem adding them back in!

The whole seeds tasted wonderful when I put them in my spaghetti sauce and when they were ground up in my spice grinder and sprinkled on my vegetables, they made the veg taste so good. This was my first time using fennel seeds and ground fennel. It sure will not be the last time.

Is it excellent quality and very good taste and I enjoy using it and cooking. The only thing I would like better is if it had a fliptop cap that allowed you to dispense without taking the cap off. That is so useful when you're in the middle of cooking.

What I like about GV Organic Fennel seed is its the real thing and is perfect for seasoning my Firm Tofu, soups, stews, beans and casseroles. It also helps to reduce upset stomach when used as a Tea and is good for the immunity system Its a wonderful spice and has many other uses, I rerecommend.

After finding my favorite Italian restaurant used Fennel seeds as one of the seasonings in their renowned pizzas, they are a favorite of mine to add to my store bought frozen pizza. It's also a tasty addition to a salad. The price is excellent, as is the taste and flavor.

I love using these herbs for their medicinal qualities. They can be soaked and used as a morning tea. Or they can be boiled for the same purpose.I like adding them and their liquid to my green juices. I have found them to be a great regulator when used daily.

This product, Organic Fennel Seed, is a wonderful additive in almost everything you wish to prepare in meals. It is also a special taste in your afternoon tea time. A little bit goes a long way in added taste.

It comes in a perfect little glass jar that is very easy to use. Tiny little green leaves that packs a powerful aroma when cooking and taste is a dream when come to roast, stews and salads.

These fennel seeds had absolutely no taste or smell. Even after grinding them up they did not release any flavor. They seemed very old and dried out. I have never bought any brand of fennel seeds that were as flavorless as these.
