Great Value Pecan Halves, 32 oz

These are my absolute favorite go-to pecans! I love the quality and the price. My favorite thing to do is roast the whole bag in butter flavored oil and topped them off with salt. We eat some for snacks and I freeze the rest for baking. Highly recommend.

These were the top of my list and as good as name brand. Walmart has increased prices on nuts however and this particular size has gone up $4 per bag. Found I could buy 4 smaller bags at Aldi and get and extra half pound for less money. Before now I would have pushed these over buying anything else as they have great flavor and roast beautifully.

The nuts were shipped since they weren't in stock although they were ordered as available in store. The nuts in the store are always in great condition but this bag arrived in the box with the pecan condition closer to "chopped" or "tumbled" rather than "halves" due to jostling during shipping-a lot of nut debris in the bag rather than nice clean pecan halves as expected. I would not order this way again. If they were delivered via FedEx that explains the package condition.

Nothing bad about these little gems. I quit cashews and peanuts and began snacking on these, walnuts and pistachios. The reason I gave 4 stars? The zip lock seal never works. for me. Not sure if I'm holding my tongue wrong but I sissor cut the bag above the zipper and try every way I can but the darned thing will not seal so I began cutting top of bag off and pouring into a gallon ZIPLOCK bag. No fuss, no bad report, it is what it is.

Great price! Pecans have gotten so expensive . Unfortunately, our only concern with these pecans is that we often find some nuts that are extremely soft. I typically save those nuts to use in dishes I need to bake. Like sweet potato soufflé or pecan pie. But otherwise the quality is GREAT! We always try to support our local orchards here in Georgia but the price difference is a big changer! . We try to support our local farmers but the price difference changes everything! Money is tight!

This is a great product that may be eaten hot or cold. For products more likely to cause food poisoning, it is better to shop for them yourself. With purchasing several cups of MUSH, one cup was bloated, and another had the lid partially open. I can't believe these products reached a customer.

I LOVE pecans as a snack. Sometimes I mix with raisins, sometimes alone. I have been buying and eating this EXACT product for probably a year now because the price was very good. The nuts in this bag were considerably smaller but the biggest issue was they were incredibly STALE. Taste is terrible. I can't even make my way through this bag.

If you plan to make a Pecan Pie or recipe with actual pecan halves, do not purchase. These are Pecan Halves and broken pieces. It takes a lot of time to sort when you are trying to bake a presentable Pecan Pie with broken pieces. We pay extra for HALVES, not pieces.

I've purchased these before, and there was no issue. They didn't seem as fresh as the Fisher brand but not bad either.. However, i ordered these through delivery and it's like every pecan is bad. There is no way this bag should have passed the quality checkpoints, if there is one. I wish Sam's had the same delivery, because the same size and fresher pecans are only $12.99. Now, let's see how the return/exchange policy works, and if i get a better bag.

first bag of these pecans I ordered were great, but this last bag was basicallyunedible. The pecans were old, smaller than the 1st bagand tasted old. I like to use these for honey roasting, but that didn"t even help them. I would appreciate you resending me another bag to try.
