Great Value Pecan Halves, 32 oz

Best value out there for walnuts %26 pecans, which are 2 of my 3 favorites and snack on them all the time. Was breaking the bank before I found these. Just went to the store yesterday and bought more. Waiting for them to come out with some bulk shelled pistachios, 1 lb bags or heavier. Then I'll be set.

I bought these thinking I would use them responsibly in a salad like a well-adjusted adult. Instead, I ended up sitting on the couch eating them straight from the bag like a Netflix-powered squirrel. The crunch is perfect, the flavor is dangerously good, and the bag feels bottomless until suddenly it isn't. These pecans single handedly convinced me that fats are a personality trait. One handful turns into twenty, and you start negotiating with yourself like a lawyer. “They are healthy fats” becomes your new life motto. If you enjoy snacks that taste way more expensive than they are, these are it. If you enjoy having self-control, these are absolutely not it. I will be repurchasing proudly, even while pretending I'll act different next time. Five stars because I cannot be trusted around them.

Pecans are a really good food. Especially in chocolate chip cookies and homemade protein bars. I have found no difference between these and more expensive brands. These really are a good value. This may sound a bit weird, but i like'em straight out of the freezer...

These were the top of my list and as good as name brand. Walmart has increased prices on nuts however and this particular size has gone up $4 per bag. Found I could buy 4 smaller bags at Aldi and get and extra half pound for less money. Before now I would have pushed these over buying anything else as they have great flavor and roast beautifully.

I like the flavor of these pecans. I the package did not contain many that were rancid or rotten. I love adding them to cold cereal for more fiber and protein. And improved flavor. Or to snack on between meals to hold off hunger. The resealable bag helps them stay fresh and crunchy.

Something has changed. I order these all the time and usually they are whole, crisp, fresh pecans. This bag had a lot of broken pieces and many are softer and not fresh. We get home delivery of our Walmart groceries because we live so far from the actual store so returning them is not an option.

I buy these pecans very frequently and for the first time they are not very good and are almost borderline dry and slightly rancid. I am surprised and disappointed . I am unsure that I will order them again in the summer months thinking heat in the warehouse may be the culprit of ruining them.

If you plan to make a Pecan Pie or recipe with actual pecan halves, do not purchase. These are Pecan Halves and broken pieces. It takes a lot of time to sort when you are trying to bake a presentable Pecan Pie with broken pieces. We pay extra for HALVES, not pieces.

I LOVE pecans as a snack. Sometimes I mix with raisins, sometimes alone. I have been buying and eating this EXACT product for probably a year now because the price was very good. The nuts in this bag were considerably smaller but the biggest issue was they were incredibly STALE. Taste is terrible. I can't even make my way through this bag.

item was delivered to the wrong house. i contacted Walmart about a refund and they refused saying it was delivered correctly. they basically called me a liar. the pic they have looks nothing like my house. i hope whoever got the items enjoy it cause it cost me $40.
