Greenworks 40V 13" Cordless String Trimmer/Edger with 2.0 Ah Battery & Charger 21302

I have a number of Green works tools (pole saw, chain saw and blower) and recently added this string trimmer. I am very pleased thus far. It has plenty of power and on a full charge and runs for as long as I want to work. My trimmer came with an extra spool, but since it is new I have not needed it, but I thought that was a nice 'value added' item.

This is an awesome cordless string trimmer/edger. The 2.0 Ah battery that comes it has plenty of juice to do my entire yard including the edging. I wanted a cordless that has lots of power and was auto feed as well as an edger. This one is perfect for me. I am very impressed with Greenworks and going to purchase some other 40V tools. I definitely recommend this trimmer/edger to you. Go for it and you won't regret it.

Just as described. Did great job easy to operate. Battery charged quickly. I tried it at first with a battery from another greenworks item until battery charged as I was eager to use it. Information received stated we could use another battery.

I'm a 69 soon to be a 70 year old woman. This model is light enough for me to manage. I have an acre of property and It does a great job trimming grass and light weeds around my trees and hard to get areas. The battery lasts for about an hour which is all I can do at one time anyway. The trimmer was quick and easy to put together.

Very nice tool, It works every bit as well as a small gas trimmer. My yard is a littke over 1/2 acre and I have yet to run out of battery. The only complaint I would have is that it is a little out of balance. The string head is a little heavy. The pivoting head and edging wheel help a lot.

I like the trimmer in general, I've had a bit of an issue with the battery making a good contact, I have to REALLY pop it in or it cuts out while trimming. Also I think the shroud is a bit too large when using it as an edger, it tends to catch if you don't have the unit very 'vertical'. I'll likely trim the shroud once I'm sure I don't have a real issue with the battery contact.

The auto feed does not work due to brand new spool that was included and already installed kept jamming. It's just as heavy as gas powered due to weight of battery. Otherwise it works. Now because it's been used, I don't think I can return it.

I never received this item. I was told I would get a refund to my account and that didn't happen. This is the second time this has happened. I returned a wedding photo enlarged that the heads were cut off again I didn't get my refund. Don't buy this from Walmart.

This is one of the worst designed trimmers. You can not keep the line from getting tangled inside the spool. Have to keep taking apart to feed line through hole and then you might get to use it for 5 mins before having to do it all over again. Would not recommend this item.
