Greenworks 40V 12" Cordless Compact Chainsaw, 2.0Ah Battery and Charger Included

I literally wore my first saw out. I abused it - cutting many trees that were larger than it was designed to cut, let neighbors borrow it, and generally didn't take care of it. When the first saw gave up after several years, I did not hesitate to replace it with the same unit. They are tough saws, powerful and fast cutting. Once I was helping a friend and he was using another brand that used smaller battery packs. No comparison. He was changing batteries every few minutes and could not was struggling to cut thru larger pieces of wood.

It is very light weight but has enough power to cut. It does need a little weight put onto it to start a cut. It is very light weight so It does skip/bounce on starts of cuts so you need to push down onto the start of a cut.

We live in the west coast of Florida and have a larger yard that appreciates flora. This helps us keep our yard looking it's best all year long. It is also a green machine so that also is helpful for the tropical environment.

Easy to use, not too high-powered which makes it safer to control. Great for a backyard with small and medium projects. Note: it does not come with chain oil so you'll have to purchase that separately.

I googled what I wanted and Walmart had the exact item at the best price.

I haven't used it a lot but it seemed to work well for the 8 small trees that I cut down. I cannot rate the battery life yet because it's still going on the first charge for the 8 small trees

Too slow, even cutting small limbs it kicks back.
