So far it has been a great trimmer. I also own the pole saw and bush trimmer all use the same battery so it makes it easy being on one platform. I like the 14" size as I have a riding mower and there are some places it cant reach so the larger trimming area helps clear those ares and still allows me to get into smaller spaces as well. Highly Recommend any products from Greenworks.

I love this string trimmer because it's powerful, easy to restring, and works with the same batteries I already had for my chainsaw and hedge trimmer. When it comes down to the heavy stuff, you can push a button for even more power. I highly recommend it.

This is my second trimmer, had the first one for many years and just wore it out. I have multiple attachments even one from a craftmans rototiller. Very please with the Greenworks line of tools, but my favorite is the little power shovel, great for cleaning snow off the deck.

Well built — not an abundance of cheap plastic. Easy to operate and uses the same size 40 volt battery as the GW lawnmower I purchased a couple of years back. This multitool has a WIDE array of available attachments making the name “string trimmer” somewhat a misnomer. Note: It's quieter than those noisy gas operated devices but still not quiet (to my ears) when in operation; of course it's perfectly quiet when ON but not spinning, unlike gas operated trimmers.

Great trimmer, I bought this without rhe battery. I already had another Greenworks tool that used th same battery. Does the same job as my gass trimmer. Battery life is great. I use a 2ah battery. Only downside of this trimming is that it is on the heavy side.

I bought this trimmer because I already had a Poulan string trimmer with attachments. The attachments I already have fit this trimmer. I have worn out two gas Poulan trimmers on light home use. Though I would give a battery powered trimmer a try. I already have a green works chainsaw for light tree trimming that works well. Batteries are the same which mean fewer chargers sitting around. have 2.5 and 5 amp hours batteries. 2.5 amp hour battery is plenty for the trimming I do on the 2 acres of lawn I mow. Hopefully this trimmer lasts longer than the 3 to 5 years I get out of Poulan 2 cycle motors.

It went together easily and works as advertised. Some have complained about the lack of replacement spools but the instructions for reloading the spool seem straight forward. I feel like it eats the battery quicker than the Greenworks 40V chainsaw but I still finished my yard with 2 out of 4 (half) battery lights. Not needing to mix fuel is fantastic.

Very well built, but heavy. Luckily it comes with a shoulder belt which carries a lot of the load. Performs very well, and the line feed worked longer than my old trimmer. It also has an on/off power button which shuts power off if you aren't currently using it (nice safety feature). Another thing I like is that it can accept both the large 40 volt or the small 40 volt battery.

By the second hour of use the automatic disassemble mode engaged leaving three parts laying at my feet, the fourth or more, parts flying into the bamboo. A handy fellow, and already 10 days behind, (the first one you sent was mismanufactured and had to be returned), I went to your website to find a parts list and schematic. Not to be found.
