Beautiful. A little tricky at first because you have to pay attention while making coffee with it. Difficult first thing in the morning until one gets used to it.
If I could give this more than 5 stars I would. I love espresso drinks from coffee shops, I used to drink just regular coffee but once my liking evolved, I just didn't like the regular coffee anymore, I was looking for a different style of coffee so I purchased this stovetop. t makes delicious coffee. Put some full city roast in their and fire it up and what comes out is espresso. From my readings I've gathered that its not actually espresso, as the Moka pot doesn't make enough pressure for it to be real espresso. But its playing the part convincingly, I can't tell the difference between what comes out of this and a shot of espresso. Its paid for itself a dozen times over at this point. Absolutely one of the best purchases I've ever made. I couldn't be happier. If you are on the fence, buy it, I am sure you won't regret it!
I bought 6 cup espresso maker. Makes delicious espresso, very easy to use even beginner can do perfect espresso with it. Worth the money. One of the best kitchen tool I have had in these days. Just follow the instructions you will make delicious espresso. Fill the reservoir with cold water ( don't use hot or warm water) and put the filter in and add ground coffee and screw on the upper half ( I call it coffee collector), and put it on the stove on low to medium flame. Just give it sometime. Don't do it on high flame and medium ground coffee will make a best espresso.
I really like this little pot, but I wasn't thinking about the amount it made when I ordered it. It's an expresso pot, it makes a small amount. The quality is good. If you want a larger amount of expresso, order a bigger pot. I would order this pot again, but I would order a much larger one.
A nice size for when you want just a bit. Solid feel with a bit of heft for its diminutive size. Weight of the base prevents it from toppling over. Excellent fit and finish, looks and feels like a quality product. Yet to be dissatisfied with any GROSCHE moka pot.
It makes an excellent giant cup of coffee.Unlike those smaller mocha pots. Be better if the handle was wooden, but not a big deal. It's nearly impossible to pour without spilling a little bit.So maybe the spout would be a better design. Nice looking pot and works pretty decent, though.I'd recommend.
The item did not work as designed. I was only able to get good results by using a hack to provide a seal between the funnel and the top half of the pot. Teflon tape fixed the problem.
It's hard to make a good seal between the top and lower half of the moka pot. The bottom portion is round, smooth, and fairly large. The result is my hand slips as I'm trying to get a firm seal. There's nothing to get a good hold of, and sometimes coffee starts pushing between the halves. By the time it's that hot, it's impossible to tighten because grabbing it with a towel, the towel just slips. The original Bialetti design had panels on the lower half, making it easier to grip. The smooth side is a frustrating design flaw, but most induction stove-ready models seem to have the same issue. I suspect it's manufacturing cost related.
Although I would love to rate this item, Home Bliss, the seller..never sent me the correct item. They sent me a less expensive, poorer quality moka pot for the same price and did not respond to any of my inquiries about the whereabouts of my Grosche moka pot. So, I had to return the non-desired moka pot to Walmart and request a refund.
This espresso pot is not stainless steel. Only the bottom is; the actual pot, is aluminum and that's really bad for our health.
