Hamilton Beach 1.6 Cu ft Sensor Cook Countertop Microwave Oven in Stainless Steel, New

Works well, heats food very well. Everything you'd expect from a microwave. It's pretty big. Has this “locking” feature.. after you warm your food you have to press unlock to open the microwave sometimes. Idk what's the purpose but it doesn't bother me at all. Overall solid microwave.

I was a little leery about the child proof lock. Copied the instructions down on how to deactivate it from it's description @ Walmart.com. Didn't need to as instructions were on the door. Deactivated lock before ever using. Easy to use, it's huge %26 seems to be working great. You don't have to hold onto it to keep it from moving when you open the door. One of the other microwaves I considered had a video that showed just that so crossed it off my list. One of these days I'll read the manual but so far I've used most features and haven't had to.

the old emerson microwave finally died on us, so i wanted to get a larger more powerful unit. this microwave achieved just that, its ease of operation was exactly what i was looking for, most new unit are too complicated to use and program, this unit simplicity is very advantageous as my mother is 89 years old and likes things that are easy and simple to use, thus the main reason i purchased this unit, also Hamilton Beach products are known for their quality and dependability and longevity.

This replaces a 1.1 cu ft 1100 watt Oster that has lasted 25 years. I turned off the child lock immediately and it is identical in all ways except just a bit bigger inside which I like. Seems a bit hotter but most likely my old one was declining as it neared its end. I am extremely happy with this microwave and highly recommend it. So easy as I didn't have to learn how to use it once I turned off the child lock. Price is great also.

So far so good I had to replace my old Hamilton Beach microwave that I had for 17 years. So I truly trust this brand and for the price I couldn't pass it up. I absolutely love the look and all the features it comes with I definitely recommend it and I am pretty sure I will have this microwave for many years ahead.

This was purchased to replace a Toshiba, which is very similar and which failed after 6 years. I hope this will last longer. The pull door was a must-have, since push button latches are prone to fail. The child safety option is nice, but easily turned off, since I don't need it. User-friendly options include more options for cooking and defrosting than most. The clock is a night light brightness. Only down-side so far is the oven's weight. Was barely able to lift it, and guessing it's around 70 lbs. For something so heavy, the packing box really needs cutout handles, and purchasers may want to line up a strong fella to lift it. Great price!

This oven is what I've been looking for. I had to use my large outdated oven for everything, now I have an oven that fits all my needs and then some. I am still learning about all its features and am having fun with it. I am so happy with my new oven.

My driver was totally awesome. She called and told me it was raining and she didn't want to leave the microwave in the rain. She brought it in the house and put it in a rolling chair so I wouldn't have to carry it into the kitchen. I think she is the best I have ever had!! She kept apologizing because they didn't have the correct amount of glucose tablets I had ordered Totally went above and beyond!.

The microwave heats up well and it looks very pleasing to the eye however it came with the dent, and when I asked for a replacement, it also came with two more dents, and it started making weird noises when it was on it was so disappointing i had to completely return it to the store and search for a new one :/

After 6 days usage, inside light for microwave stopped working. Called, very hard to understand Walmart's help line. After repeating ourselves constantly and asking help desk to repeat, process took over a half hour. We informed help desk that item was delivered and we no longer have the box it came in, she said that is OK. While still speaking with help desk received email with return instructions. It said to repackage and use attached FED X label and return to any FED X office, replacement will not be sent until defective unit is received. After discussing email with rep, she said no worries, we will receive replacement and a courier will pick up defective unit. Since we could hardly understand rep, it is doubtful she could understand us as well. If Walmart's help desk can not communicate better, I would not recommend their services to anyone. Very doubtful I will receive a replacement based on my experience with your help desk.
