When my 20 year old 1 1/2 c. food chopper broke, I decided to give this 3 c. chopper a try. Yes, it was bigger than my old one, but didn't overwhelm the kitchen. My husband used it to make his smoothie and it didn't leak liquid anywhere. (Because of that, I am getting rid of my huge blender.) I've used it to cut up nuts, onions, oatmeal (for meatloaf) so far and loved it.

love this I had one of these it lasted 10 years . it finally went , so im glad I could find a new one. Easy to clean and fast enough to chop nuts.

Works very well. Good quality. Dont pull the blade out until you have it over a bowl. I did while it was still on the machine and it leaked out the bottom. Oppppsssssssssss.

Works very well with cheese and fresh veggies, I wouldn't put frozen stuff in it for sure, but overall good for its price

After practically blending the veggies to soup, there were still large unchopped chunks of onion and celery. It doesn't matter whether it's on hi or lo, the only good difference between this and others it's quieter.

I purchased this item to prepare some items for dinner. I got delivered when I ordered my groceries. Well just know it didn't work and I couldn't return it they said so I am stuck with a product I can't use. I don't have to verify I bought the product, I mean they asking me for the review. But, I guess that's what happens when we order our groceries instead of picking them up for ourselves.

It might be a 3 cup but if you put to much in it the stuff on the bottom will get mushy but the stuff on top will not get chopped at all. So you have to put a small amount in it at a time. Maybe if the blades were farther apart that might help. If I did a lot of food prep I would go for a blender or food processor but it is just me so I guess it will do in a pinch.

Food at the bottom of the bowl is pureed, but the puree stops the rest of the food reaching the blades. To make it work, you have to chop the food into tiny pieces, which rather defeats the point of the device.

I bought a Hamilton Beach food processor because I trusted it would work well. I tried to make salsa, bigger pieces stayed on top while area by blades was pulverized. Dont waste your time or money. I returned it after one use.
