HERDEZ Chipotle Pepper Paste, 7 oz Plastic Pouch, Shelf-Stable

I love this stuff. So easy to use. It can be used to add flavor or spice to just about any dish. Last night I opened up a can of plain beans, drain most of the juice and added a small amount of Herdez Chipotle Pepper Paste and some canned chicken and made a quick meal out of it. Yum! If you mix it into your homemade avocado dip, you I won't need to buy the package mix. Anything that needs flavor or a touch of spice, add it. You won't be disappointed.

This chipotle pepper paste is delicious! The spice is not blow-your-head off but is definitely there leaving a nice tingle on the tongue while allowing the other flavors - sweetness of the chilis and a rich smokiness - to come through. It couldn't be easier to use - just squeeze your preferred amount out of the pouch. I squeezed a bit into pintos, onion, garlic and green pepper for a bean enchilada filling. I also mixed a little into a ranch dressing then stirred into white rice. Yummy! Since little is needed to give a big flavor kick this is great value for money. Will be trying the other flavors!

Let me say I can't cook or make stuff for nothing. So I cheat when I can. I wanted to make beef like my mom makes and when I saw this I said great I ain't gotta annoy her on instructions lol. For me it was spicy but my son enjoyed it. Def recommend

We love chipotle peppers in our family and come to enjoy it in other recipes from time to time. This paste makes it easy to add chipotle flavors and is easier to adjust the heat for each of us (some of us have dietary restrictions). I highly recommend you give it a try!

Very easy to use paste. Mixes well with ground meat. I used it recently in ground chicken for chicken patties. Gave chicken a nice pop of flavor with a medium heat level. Looking forward to using other varieties of flavors

These pouches from HERDEZ are great to have on hand in your kitchen or pantry. Our family has mixed them with other ingredients for condiments, simmer sauces, and even to add flavor to soup broth! Quite versatile!

taste was good but compared to can of chilies with adobo its not quite as punchy, for sure has spice though and super easy to grab out the pantry and use in sauces.
