HERDEZ Roasted Salsa Roja Medium, Tortilla Chip Dip, Shelf Stable, 15.7 oz Glass Jar

The only problem I have with this product is I am having a difficult time finding it on my local stores shelf. it is either not stocked or sold out. The only way I have been able to get it is from walmart,com. My wife and Granddaughter love it and I have a difficult time keeping a supply at my house.

Really flavorful salsa! Great to add to recipes and sauces for chicken. It does have a bit of heat.

When taste testing the Herdez line we tried the salsa roja in medium. This had a very good salsa smell with a good spice level for a medium salsa. This one had a smoky flavor that wasn't over powering and a good flavor and texture overall. Only one of the testers thoughy there was too much spice and not enough chunkiness for the salsa. This one for me was a winner for taste,smell and spiciness. It was well rounded and something I would definitely buy again.

You can't get no better salsa!! This Herdez roasted salsa Roja medium. It's just the right amount of spices a not too hot! My family loves this stuff we can't get enough. It so much better then other salsa I have tried. I will forever be buying this!! It's so good

This is a very good salsa. I made a chicken dish and added this to it in the crock-pot and it was wonderful. The heat and spices gives it a great taste. My daughter loved it with chips. I love to add salsa to dishes to give them a great flavor and this is the first time I used this brand. I am very delighted with the flavor of this brand compared to others I have tried. I would recommend this brand to anyone.

I like this because it is not too chunky and tomatoey/ketchupy (like Pace or something). Closer to the real authentic red sauce taste you get at an authentic Mexican restaurant. We tried it with tortilla chips, on tacos and sopes and on chicken and rice. Good on lots of things! I would buy this brand any time I wanted a thinner red sauce from the store.

I was surprised at how flavorful and enjoyable the Roasted Salsa Roja is. My preference is usually a more chunky salsa but the flavor of this makes it worth buying. The heat level says "medium" and it holds true to that description. Just the right amount of spice. I would recommend this and I would definitely purchase this often. The roasted salsa is not something I'd normally be interested in purchasing but I'm glad that I took a chance trying it.
