I had honestly overlooked this tv because of the name brand. As I looked across the market, it had checked all of my boxes for smart tv, size, value, and picture quality. I installed, mounted and setup by myself. I have no regrets from the Black Friday sale.
very pleased with picture quality n love the option on advertisement for products that allow us to add it to our prime cart. Very innovative even for us old ***** who typically don't like technology. this is plug n play ready to go and pretty intuitive to use.
The picture was great for 4 days with sound. Well you can not make these stories up. My dog Dollie, a good size rescue, and I were rough housing it in the front room. The new smart TV was on. So a commercial came up with a large dog and she went after the dog and needless to say hit the TV and put a spider crack in the right side center of screen. I know it can not bee warrantied. I thought I could bring a bit of laughter to everyone that might read this.
I love my new TV! It's quite literally the best one I've ever owned. I never realized how much of the action I was missing with my old one. But it's amazing. Especially when watching my Blu-ray's on it. It's like a theater experience. Best $200 dollars that I've ever spent! Highly recommended!
OK, a 100% Honest opinion. My Toshiba that I bought in 2016 died and I needed a new TV. Now, I had never heard of Hisense, but after a bit of research, I found it to be both popular and a large volume seller with 4 1/2 star ratings, which is good. The TV: I bought the Hisense QLED TV which has a GREAT picture, much better than my old Toshiba LED TV picture. This Hisense was also a Google smart TV, so it has all the bells and whistles. Now, the sound. I have read several reviews saying that the sound quality was not very good. I have NO IDEA what they were talking about. The sound on this Hisense TV is OUTSTANDING, MUCH MUCH BETTER than my old Toshiba. The Dolby system REALLY does it's job and delivers Very Good and Very Clear sound, and if you like it (which I do not), you can blast the sound up with no distortion at all. YES, I don't think the sound compares to a $5000 theater surround sound system, but for the VERY LOW price for the Hisense, the sound quality is GREAT. That's about it. You can pay 5 times as much money for a bigger name like Samsung , BUT is a 10% better TV worth paying 5 times as much money for? I 100% recommend the Hisense brand.
if you look inside the tv and around the whole bezels , inside of screen panel . you can see theres bezel cut-outs . due to these cut outs , it looks as if the bezel part is chipped off inside tv, i dnt know if its my bad luck or if its a bad design. this is not delivery fault nor hand pressure on tv. this is directlty mafactuerer defect. due to bezel being cut-out like this. it causes bright lights to appear within the cut outs . which makes watching dark movies un appealing. fyi. i cant see a different within tcl brand and this brand within same price point . theyre both are very idenitical in watching tv and videos . this being my 5th hi sense. never seen the inside of tv bezel to have these cut outs like this . i dont know if its a 2025 year thing.. but it should be stopped in production if thats the case.. this is a major un appealing problem .. @ hi sense: i dnt need support. walmart took care of me. hi sense is going to reply. reply back with if this is how this specific brand is made or just my bad luck . lol.
Do not buy. Bought in July. 6 months later a green line appeared from top to bottom in middle of the screen and it wont go away. Can't get a hold of a person on technical line. They want me to try to download a new firmware update from website and then download to tv. Ridiculous that the tv can't update itself via wifi.... my old LG tv would download updates all the time.
This unit is a PAIN. Every power on, SOME settings just change back to a very crappy default, while others stay the same. But casting things to it is a nightmare in and of itself - forcing quality and visual settings based off of the app casting to it. Disney Plus? FORCES Dolby Vision, which comes with forced dynamic brightness. So ads that play during streaming? Not only do they get louder, they get BRIGHTER. I had a decade old Vizio that was better than this, that got hit by lightning. Still a better TV than this jank capitalism created garbage. AVOID IT.
Ordered for delivery and never received the tv. shows picture of delivery but, only the box and darkness around it. Called to report it and only got a ema back saying refused to refund. Called back and was told they was pushing the refund through and it would take upto 10 days to get it. We received refund the next day only for the next day for it to disappear. I recommend only pick up and don't trust delivery for expensive items like this because, you probably will have issues like we did.
This TV is advertised as a refresh rate of 165hz. Opened the TV and set up for install and right on the back of the TV says it is a 60hz refresh rate. This is complete false advertisement. Expected a certain TV with refresh rate and got something completely different. Very disappointed in this purchase.
