I really like how easy this Hoover SmartWash is to use. The automatic cleaning feature makes it super simple—just push forward to wash and pull back to dry, no triggers or guesswork. The dirty water lid comes completely off, which makes emptying and cleaning it a breeze. That's honestly one of my favorite features because cleanup is usually the worst part. I also love that you can remove the spin brush easily without having to mess with screws first. It makes maintenance quick and stress-free. Most importantly—it cleans great. I've used it about five times now, and I've been pleased every single time. It really does a solid job getting carpets fresh again.

The Hoover Smartwash Shampooer has been a game changer. I have been using the purple Bissell pet shampooer. It has been a pain. The tanks leaked, the button to release water got stuck all the time and the belt broke constantly to the rolling brush. I wanted the purple Hoover but it was like $300. I'll just say if this is how the cheaper Hoover works, I can't even believe how good the others would be. My carpets feel refreshed and lifted. Visibly and to the touch. I loved the ease of no water nozzle. You go forward to wet and back to dry. The dry only feature is amazing and my carpets were 95% dry using it. The Bissell left my carpets wet and sad. I actually had fun shampooing and it wasn't a dreadful chore. I knew my work would actually get my floors clean using the Hoover and the Hoover Pet carpet cleaning solution.

I love this carpet cleaner! So easy to clean, has lots of suction, large tank of cleaning water and holding tank, doesn't get plugged with debris. you don't have to hold a trigger to make the cleaning solution come out. Has a dry only setting. So much better than the Bissel that I gave to a neighbor who does not have pets so there's no hair to plug it up.

I switched from a Bissel to a Hoover because my Bissel broke a little over a year of owning it. This one cost a little more, but after the first use, I was happily satisfied. Tank is bigger (both clean and dirty), and the width of the brushes/base is much wider. The Hoover cleaned faster and better! I have pets and it picked up so much hair. Even after I vacuumed, this machine was still gathering hair/dirt from the carpet. Very easy to use and clean up!

It is very easy to use, I like the automatic dispersing of the cleaning solution along with being able to just do the drying feature. I used it on carpeting that was not soiled but it removed not seen dirt by the color of the water sucked up and the refreshed look of my carpeting.

The best machine I ever owned! I used other machines over the years and was very disappointed with the performance and quality that they provided. If you want a good and easy to use automatic machine buy Hoover SmartWash. I wish I had purchased this years ago after the results and easy to use auto machine.

Do Not Purchase This Item!!!! Great item but Fedex delivered to wrong address and Walmart would not make it right with me because FedEx had a delivery picture even though it was not my house. I am so disappointed with Walmart because I paid over $200 for this machine to replace my old broken one. Btw FedEx was no help either so I am just out my money. Think twice before making a large purchase from Walmart. If you don't get it they will not refund you even if they say they will simply because FedEx takes delivery pictures and it doesn't matter if it's not your address. Terrible customer service Walmart!

not gonna lie with the power of the carpet cleaner hey, we'll get the job done. But yeah, all the clamps and everything made of cheap plastic. I'm not satisfied for the price. I wasted my money not even the the quality of the material it's built with thought of basic wear and tear

Barely has suction and when pulling back in dry mode, dry chunks of dirt are left behind. Mind you this is after thoroughly vacuuming the carpets first
