Desktop PC Monitor Bundle gets the job donne

Tranquil13 October 20, 2020

Desktop Pc and Monitor Bundle gets the job done, makes it lots of fun. The HP Intel Core i3-10100 CPU 3.60 GHz has 8GB of ram a 64-bit Operating System and has 1TB 7200 RPM hard drive that will hold a lot of programs and data. It has a DVD Writer to listen to music, watch movies and videos and backup your media and pictures. It comes with Windows 10 Home installed. Be sure to get the updates after setting it up. Has an HD Monitor with 8USB Ports on the front. The tower is small and doesn't take up a lot of space. The monitor is HP 24y Display, nice and big for what your needs are. Color is vivid and clear. The one thing you will need is a headset or set of speakers for sound, as it does not include speakers or headset. It does come with a nice keyboard and mouse that works smoothly. The on/off switch is on the top left of the tower, the on/off switch on the monitor is on the back bottom right side of monitor. This is an overall good pc system for the money and it seems to work well with the apps I use most. It plays my games that I like very well and is fast. I am a Sims player and in order to play the game people always are asking what kind of computer do I need to play? Well this one will do the job and make the game very enjoyable. The large screen in HD is lots of fun playing games and if you work on graphics you will love it too, I am an artist and photographer and this is a gem of a machine for all of the things I do best. I am sure that you will be happy with this set up.

Great family computer

Kandikris729 October 18, 2020

We are loving our new computer! I was concerned it would be difficult to set up. It was super easy. We switched out the old computer for the new in minutes with help from the poster on the monitor. Once it's turned on it walks you thru all the steps to set up and personalize your pc. It couldn't have been easier. We have a wireless keyboard and mouse which work great with the new computer. It comes with a nice wired set if you prefer to use wired. The monitor is bright and brilliant. It puts our old monitor to shame. We use our desktop to pay bills search the web, very basic stuff which it does beautifully. It's so fast. We love it. We often have things we need to print, as well. It connected to our printer with no problems. The real test of our new computer was when my grandkids showed up for a visit. They are gamers and love to play games and watch movies on the pc. They were tickled pink that Mimi and peepaw now have a computer that they too can use and enjoy. This hp got two thumbs up and so did peepaw and I! I watched them play and the graphics are fantastic. They pointed out all the ports, eight I believe, that can be utilized. My son printed out some homeschool work for the grands and that went smoothly and much quicker than with our old computer. All in all, the entire family is happy with our new computer. You get everything you need in one box, it's easy to set up, it's great for searching the web, printing, and playing games/watching movies. What more could you ask for? Highly recommend!

Fast Computer Spectacular Display

OneEyedKristy October 15, 2020

In general, I don't like Windows 10 systems. This system is an exception. With 8 GB RAM, this computer is much faster than I anticipated. When you turn it on for the first time, you will need to go through a set-up process and that feels sort of slow - but once you get through that, it's a breeze. I was able to download Google Chrome and Firefox browsers by going to their websites (I found going through the Microsoft Store to be tedious and unhelpful for this purpose). I can't say enough about this display - 24" and Ultra High Def - the picture is so vivid and the matte anti-glare screen is a big bonus. The display connects to the CPU via HDMI (cable included). There are 8 USB ports (4 on the back and 4 on the front). Another gem is that this can connect to WiFi - so no having to run Ethernet cable to the system unless you want to. The monitor doesn't have built-in speakers - you will have to use either the headphone jack in the front or the speaker jacks in the back. All-in-all, this Windows 10 system really blew me away. I'm impressed - and I can wholeheartedly recommend it. Everything you need is in this box - and that makes it so handy.

Compact and Classy

Lhoward81 October 18, 2020

The HP 24 Desktop Bundle was packaged nicely together with each component wrapped separately. Its lightweight and has a sleek new design. It doesn't take up a lot of room and looks great. It was a fast and easy setup and I was online within 20 mins. The webpages loaded fast and there was no lag problems when I watched a video or a movie. Even downloading music was fast and easy. I did purchase my own speakers since it didn't come with any but that was no big issue. It does have a wired mouse and keyboard. There's 9 USB ports so plenty of options for add ons. I like that it has a dvd writer and you can use the wifi with Bluetooth option or you can use the included Ethernet cable for a wired connection. It has 8GB Memory and 1 TB Hard drive. More than enough memory to download music, movies, or video games. I would definitely recommend. It has been great addition for the whole family.

More than I expected!

Wormie October 18, 2020

I am really enjoying the HP desktop bundle! The bundle comes with everything that you need including the mouse and keyboard. Setting up the computer could have not been any easier. I had it up and running in under 30 minutes! All you need to do is unpack everything, plug the monitor, keyboard, and mouse into the tower and then plug the tower and monitor into your power supply, turn them on and follow the onscreen instructions and you are all set! The vibrance of the monitor is amazing. You can adjust the monitor to different heights to suit your personal needs. You can adjust the brightness and customize the background. The computer comes with so many great products like Microsoft Office, McAfee Anti-virus, Netflix, and Paint 3D just to mention a few. I was very impressed with the speed of the computer. Everything moves much faster than any computer I have had previous to this one. I had gotten away from a desktop setup thinking I needed a laptop but I have found I only need the laptop for portability and am glad I went back to a desktop. This would be a great computer for students, especially with the larger monitor. Having such a large screen could reduce eye strain and I know for me straining to see the small type or photos on a laptop is frustrating. With 8gb of memory and 1 TB of storage, I don't think I could ever fill it up to the point I would need to expand the memory or storage. The internet seems to move along faster than my laptop also which is a huge plus for me. The keyboard is easy to use and the keys flow smoothly. The mouse works flawlessly and has plenty of cord to accommodate any desk. The tower is slim and shorter than towers use to be taking up less space. My desk is rather small and I had plenty of room to spare. If you are looking for a quality computer then this is the one I would recommend. HP has done it right and I will still use my laptop when traveling but I am back to a desktop and am glad I made the switch!

Great PC

Houstonian October 20, 2020

This bundle had everything I needed to get up and running right away. It came with McAfee so I had no worries about anti-virus. The instructions were so easy. I'm not very good with tech things and I was able to have it all going fairly quickly and without getting frustrated. The monitor had instructions taped right to the front in big print so you could lay it nearby and still see clearly. The power button for the monitor is kind of to the back, which is something I'll have to get used to, but worth it for now nice it is. The monitor gives a clear, crisp picture. Opening programs, going from page to page on the net...it's all really fast. No lag at all. The mouse and keyboard are basic, but do the job perfectly. It's really pretty to look at as well. I've never had a tower that looked this nice and all the front plug-in options make it so simple to add new things. I love the computer and am so happy to replace my Dell with this.

Nice, Moderately-Priced Computer Bundle

FlashyFlowers October 18, 2020

I've just finished setting up this computer, and so far, it seems to have several advantages over my older Windows 8.1 model. One is that its RAM can be upgraded a lot. I always upgrade the RAM to the max for any computer I get as a matter of course, and I'll be doing that with this one, too. More RAM lets it stay fast when running more than one app at once, or a single resource-intensive app or game. One of the reasons I always choose a tower model is that they are so much easier to upgrade (and when they get old, to fix) than the other designs. I'm quite pleased that this tower-style computer includes a built-in CD/DVD drive. Too many of today's models don't have that essential item. To my pleasant surprise, this machine has Wi-Fi pickup built in. The appearance of the computer is fairly flat, and I actually had to look with a flashlight to find the power button. That button could be a little bigger, actually, but it's in line with the minimalistic overall style. This bundle also comes with a monitor with HDMI connectivity. It was a bit tricky to find the buttons so I could turn it down from its eye-searing default brightness setting of 90, but I was able to do it quickly enough. The buttons are on the back, which gives it a smooth, thin frame on the front side. The wide screen will take some getting used to - I usually use a square one because that's what works best with vintage games. A mouse and keyboard are included, too. Both of these are standard size, which is great. However, I use an oversized mouse to prevent hand cramping, so I'll stick with that one. I'm also sticking with my old keyboard until it breaks, because I'm used to it. It's always nice to have spare mice and keyboards, though, since they sometimes die without warning. Setup was about as easy as any computer is. The HDMI spec is nicer, mainly because I don't have to screw the connector on like with the old kind. That eliminates a mild annoyance. It has lots of USB ports, so I didn't have to use them all just attaching the basics. Currently, it has integrated graphics. If you want to play newer games, you'll want to upgrade that.

Nice bundle and a great value

Nick4654 November 11, 2020

This HP desktop bundle offers quite a bit of value for the cost. Startup is a little bit slow compared to today's standards due to the 7200 rpm hard drive but it still boots up and loads programs in an acceptable time frame. Once running though, the Intel i3 cpu and integrated graphics do a fine job for most typical web uses. I ran a performance test with Novabench and it returned the following scores: CPU 1002 (running at 4.07 GHz), RAM 182, GPU 179, Disk 41, Overall 1404. This is actually on par with my HP "gaming" pc sporting an AMD Ryzen 5 2400G, except for a lower GPU score which could be affordably addressed with a mid-range graphics card down the road, if desired. I think adding a small SSD would also be reasonable and greatly boost the disk performance. But for most people, the package out of the box will be fast enough already. The 24" monitor is the perfect size, in my opinion, and has pretty good viewing angles along with vivid colors, decent resolution and good refresh rate. The keyboard is basic, as one would expect, although it does have a few volume controls built-in, which I appreciate. The mouse is even more basic, lacking as much as a back button, but the left/right buttons have a reassuring click and the scroll wheel operates smoothly and will click down for special functions, like opening a new tab. Overall, I can't find a reason not to recommend this bundle for the price. Obviously, it's not a gaming pc but it is more than enough for most home uses.

Amazing desktop from movies to moderate gaming!

Orangebeast25 October 19, 2020

HP has exceeded my expectations. First of all the computer is super fast when you launch the web browser or anything you click on with no lag or delay at all. I am very impressed how good the I3 processer is with this computer no problems at all with a 3.6ghz base speed that plays pretty detailed games. the visuals are also good while playing games and it does not crash but of course make sure you check to see if your pc can run a certain game of course. I really like that this has 4 super usb ports on the front and a headphone jax as well as a card reader which is awesome. it also has 4 usb ports, ethernet port, hdmi, vga ports, headphone, microphone plus a nice 1tb hard drive. also who can forget it has a dvd drive which works amazing. I love the black sleekness of it and it runs cool and quiet for a desktop. last is the monitor I went from a 15.6 in laptop screen to this and just wow you can see the difference 1080p on this looks just as good as 4k. the keyboard and mouse was actually a big surprise of how well they preformed fast response and the mouse is comfortable even for my big hands. If you are in the hunt for a new desktop bundle or this is your first. Then do not pass this up. To adjust the picture settings on the monitor there is buttons on the back by the power light. Best for moderate gaming and even some heavy gaming al the way to movies and browsing.

NICE BUNDLE

AvidOnlineShopper October 26, 2020

I was really excited when I opened the box containing my HP Desktop M01-F1033wb Bundle. Almost everything needed in a computer is in the box. Setup was a completely simple and easy task. The mouse and the keyboard are both corded and connected via USB. There are four USB slots, a memory card reader, and DVD- Writer located on the front of the tower. In addition, I was pleasantly surprised to discover the four USB slots located on the back of the tower. The Monitor is awesome!!! It's a nice 24 inch HD display! The video I played looked spectacular! I loaded and tested most of the software I use on a daily basis. The Windows software performed well. My Adobe software ran a bit slower than the speed I normally get on my Dell laptop. I am not sure if I was trying to multi-task too much, but I usually get these same tasks done on my laptop with no problem. I was a bit disappointed to find that the speakers, mic, and cam were not included in this bundle. I used my Bluetooth speaker and an old USB Cam that I had in storage, both were pretty old but fit the bill. I did not have a spare mic but discovered that a simple set of earphones worked wonders as a mic. All in all, I am very happy with this bundle of joy!!
