These sticks are fantastic!!! They are accurate and use the app it makes pool maintenance so much easier. My family are enjoying having a summer with a pool in the back yard!
These strips are very convenient. We live in an apartment building and the chlorine smell was too much. So I bought these to check the levels, which were normal.
These never seem to turn any colors except for the chlorine one. Every time I text it to the number it says it cannot read the test. Not a good test strip for anything other than chlorine.
they seem to work really fast. i had a few of the squares not really match up to a color so I had to go with the best match they had on the bottle. I Text the pic to the number and I got no response back! maybe they couldn't figure out what colors they were too!
I bought this brand (HTH) because it was a dollar cheaper than the clorox one I used before. And now I see why. Only the chlorine reading is reliable. The other readings are unclear and inaccurate. Specifically, at least with my pool, the Ph reading has never been clear (the color on the strip is patchy and does not match any of the colors on the canister) and the CYA reading has always been wrong (I checked with other testers and with the pool store). I am throwing out the unfinished canister and going back to the clorox brand. So instead of saving a dollar, I wasted $8.50. Lesson learned.
You substituted this product for the one I ordered without my permission. Then the pick up is impossible without using your stupid app. Why post a phone number at the pickup station if no one will answer it? You like frustrating your customers?
I dont think they work. The packaging and instructions are good. I put them in the water then counted out the time. I had to wait 4xs the time for a read. The date is good, not old. Compared to my other test strips these are not worth it.
Chlorine reading is not accurate. It was white every time I tested over a 3 week period. I changed brands and the chlorine levels were fine all along.
I did not pay attention to the package when I ordered, these HTH 6 way test strips are horrible. The color contrast after dipping the strip is indistinguishable. The chlorine colors especially are a terrible shade of pinkish nothing. It is hard to tell what your chemical levels are. I normally use the SMART TEST 6 way test strips. They color up properly after dipping and make it so easy. I wasted my money on these strips, wish I could return them.
I had these and clorox test strips. These read completely different than the others. I texted them the picture of the test strip and they suggested I add 38 pounds of pH additive to my 11,000 gallon pool!!! I went to my local pool company with a water sample to make sure and the HTH strips were way off. I chucked them and am sticking with the clorox strips.
